    Incredible headphones for anybody

My Experience These headphones are truly an exceptional piece of technology that you can use for more than just working out. Even though they are designed for working out these headphones are absolutely perfect for the office or just running some errands. With my experience with the headphones it is easy to give this product four stars barring I have any of the quality issues that other have faced. Product and Criteria These headphones come with three different types of ear pieces: large, small, and sport. When you have the right sized ear piece in the ability to cancel outer noises is truly highlighted. Even though in-ear head phones have been known for not having the loudest ability or the best range of ability, this set is truly gifted for the quality that is given. The first main criteria for a headphone is price compared to value. At the time that I purchased the headphones, the Powerbeats 3 had just been released causing these headphones to go on a massive sale. With seeing the price decrease so much compared to a slightly improved Powerbeats 3 product the price for the value was a huge win at the time. Another one of the biggest concerns you might have is battery life. With wireless headphones the life just never seems to last long enough, but with the Powerbeats 2 there were many times that I would turn them on in the morning to shockingly still see a full power bar before I start my day. Obviously, there were sometimes that I was startled with an abrupt power down tone after a heavy use day but the Powerbeats 2 still have a pretty good battery life. The next category is connectivity. I have used these headphones with both Apple and Android products over multiple generations of phone/tablet and connectivity has never been an issue. Most of the time these headphones connect to your last device as soon as they are turned on. I have walked around my entire apartment playing music connected to my laptop and never lost a note. Wrapping Up Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and if these were to break I would absolutely buy another pair! I received a great pair of headphones that truly do not have any of the negatives that any of the other reviews have listed. This improvement in product over the other reviews may have just been a problem solved over time but this is still an absolutely incredible product that I think everybody from athletes to office workers should own!

This is a review for the Powerbeats3 - Refurbished from Best Buy I get these reward certificates and discount coupons from Best Buy, so after reading the reviews, I saw that it was on Sale ($80.00) I jumped on it and used by $10 reward, plus 10% certificate, which came down to a really good deal at $63.00 When i received the earbuds, they actually looked new and untouched. I tested it, registered to see if it was genuine and then updated the firmware to the latest. Everything checked out as positive and genuine. After using it for about a month, (I use it to go running) it is a solid ear piece that doesnt fall off. The audio is good with lots of bass. The battery life is good, about 2 or 3 days for me till it needs a full charge. Last thing, because of the many reviews where it breaks so easily, I decided to buy the 2 year protection plan where if anything happens - Geek Squad/Best buy will replace it with no questions. Being it a delicate and sensitive device, I went with to make sure that it will last long for me. Overall, a good purchase, no regrets and would do it again.

They shut down when you sweat

So I bought these for the gym since they are advertised as ear buds for working out. They worked great for about 3 months when I was focusing mostly on weight training with a little bit of cardio. Well I began to train for a 15K and began to wear the Powerbeats 3 on the treadmill. The first time I wore them, they shut down after 2 minutes. I thought maybe I forgot to charge them. I charged them as soon as I got back to my desk and left them charging the rest of the day. The next day I went to the gym and tried using them while I ran on the treadmill again and once again they shut down after 2 minutes. I once again tried charging them only to have them shut down again after 2 minutes of running. I looked up this issue and it turns out I am not the only one having this issue. A lot of people state that the powerbeats have a safety feature that powers them off if they sense too much humidity. Seriously, they market ear buds for training but they shut off if you sweat too much. I am always iffy about buying apple products because of how unreliable their products are and because of their crappy replacement policy. I contacted Apple and they offered to take a look at the headphones and if they were found to be malfunctioning they would send me something similar to my product and it didnt have to be new based on their exchange policy. Never buying anything from Apple again.

I have a pair of Beats Powerbeats 3 earphones because I was too scared of losing my air pods, and I liked the idea of the Powerbeats being sweatproof. You'd have a tough time figuring out what's different in quality between the Powerbeats 2 and Powerbeats 3, as they look and feel the same to me. There is no rubber seal for the mini-USB charging cable, it's now always exposed. Also they went a little cheap on the case vs the Powerbeats 2. The best thing for these is the way they sync up with an iPhone. No more stupid bluetooth syncing. Just have your earphones on and near your iphone and you are good to go. Good battery live (more than Airpods)...so it's a decent value. I bought refurbs that were geek squad certified and it's hard to tell if they were used. I was a little nervous buying refurbs...I mean were they really in someone elses ear -- but I didn't need to worry. I found trying to find the right ear adapter difficult. I actually put them on the wrong way at first and it got stuck in my ear canal when I pulled the earphones off. That was a quick lesson in learning I did it wrong. LOL. Anyway, good sound, good for working out. Not cheap. Get them on sale or refurb.

I bought these as a refurbished unit. I am very pleased with the sound quality for a wide array of genres. These are quite clear and show a great range. Everything from Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson to Foo Fighters and Taking Back Sunday to Lil Wayne and TI. The battery life is superb! The pairing to my iPhone XR and my Series 3 Nike watch is excellent. Only clipping I have had I am attributing to lower battery (was at 10-15%) The draw backs I see thus far (roughly 8 weeks of use) The ear fitment with the provided rubber “cones” leaves something to be desired. Getting a good sealed fit has been impossible while running. Going to look for some foam pieces to try and rectify this issue. The over ear hooks are quite large and would be amazing if they had a memory wire inside to adjust fit. The cable control for placement around your neck is also temperamental. I find having to leave it quite loose to be able to articulate my head and not effect my ear seal negatively. Also, would not recommend ever buying these at full retail or close to it. They are solid for under $100.

Good quality audio and would be worth the money too if it wasn't for the fact that they suddenly stopped working within four months of use. The bluetooth would cut off and at times it would automatically connect and other times I wouldn't be able to use them until connecting them back with my phone. Not sure why it would disconnect during use (I would skip songs and use the volume button feature), but continued to use them. After coming back from the gym, I went to charge them and the LEDs began flashing randomly. It happened once before and fixed itself after manually restarting it via the forced shut down feature built in. This time it did not restart it was left in a loop. It was disappointing as I would use it for the gym daily. I lift heavy without a spotter so I can't have anything in my pocket so these came in handy. Also used them for cycling ~20 miles three- four times a week because I use a bicycle to commute. Overall wasn't worth the money for the time that it was used for (4 months until it broke) and the hassle of it disconnecting. The package arrived within three days or so and it came with all the original packaging except it had a geek squad sticker. My sister has the exact same model in a different color and she has not had any issues; she did not purchase it refurbished.

I purchased Powerbeats 3 headphones in Sep 2017. October 2018 they died. 3 weeks past 12 month warranty. Beats offered me refurbished for $100 with 3 month warranty. I opted to purchase refurbished from Bestbuy ($99) with 2 yr warranty ($20). 2 weeks after I received them they died. Went to Geek Squad and they don't have them in store so they take a week to mail them. However, the warranty is over once they replace them. So I paid $20 and now I basically have a 90 day warranty because they are refurbished. They stopped selling extended warranties with these headphones (probably because they were losing money). The quality was never great and the reliability is terrible. Best Buy ended up refunding my purchase. I purchased Bose wireless sports headphones for $149. They sound 100 times better and don't fall out of my ears. I only have had them for a day so this is not a review for them. Save your money and don't buy Powerbeats 3.

Pros: -stay in place during rigorous workouts -comfortable -get loud and block out external noise, but not too much where you can't hear your surroundings -stays charged for about 11+ hours compared to the 5+ on the Powerbeats 2 my dog chewed up Major Con: I bought these refurbished and they still had their last users earwax coated inside them (you get what you pay for?). I had to swab away the small chunks of wax with a q-tip and scrape away the streams of wax along the creases with the end of a paper clip. I was pretty disgusted, but luckily it came with fresh earbuds so the area that had wax wouldn't actually touch my inner ear. CLEAN YOUR PRODUCTS BEST BUY EVEN IF THEY ARE USED!! I would give 4 stars if not for that earwax experience.

    Satisfactory replacement for lost earbuds

Purchased the PowerBeats3 Wireless as a replacement for a pair of BeatsX Wireless In-Ear Headphones that were misplaced during domestic air travel. The Bluetooth connectivity is identical to the former pair of earbuds and work as anticipated with my Apple devices. I perceive the sound quality to be identical, but did not find the bass reproduction to be as satisfying until I replaced the eartips with the included larger size to affect a tighter seal. This also improved the comfort level. The over the ear hooks definitely secure this wearable device during workouts, but these are not my first choice for easy listening, i.e., lounging about or to drown out background noise in a shared, common work area during business hours. Purchased these as refurbished and all materials were like new, but the printed User Guide/Manual was omitted.

New the cost was 199. I got them certified refurbished for 85 dollars. They work great and same warranty as new. I had the power beats 2 and used them 6x a week at the gym for little over year until the cap of the volume button came off. Warranty was out. So I couldn’t return them or had them repaired without a charge. I tried the other brands that hold inside the ear like the jaybirds and they are extremely uncomfortable. To me at least they were. I returned them and got these instead. Oh btw I bought the jaybird equivalent on price the the power beats 3 that are 199 dollars. Hands down the power beats in my opinion feel better. Hold and just sound better. But to each their own.

Poor Quality - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished

The Powerbeats3 has a great sound, good battery life and quick charging capabilities. Unfortunately, I am still amazed by the poor quality of the “Geek Squad Certified Refurbished” standards. This item is supposed to bring 4 different eartips size options (it only came with 3), but my biggest issue is that it was dirty. It had ear wax in multiple places and sweat spots everywhere. It doesn’t make sense that a wearable is not properly disinfected and repackaged correctly before is put for sell again with the “Geek Squad Certification”. This is an infection control issue that shouldn’t be ignored.

Ok I was a little skeptical to how long these headphones could last on a single charge however after using them for a week now they've held up to their claim. They do last for close to 12 hrs. I've yet to actually time it but I use it throughout my work day as my go to headphones to play music and to take calls and they've lasted all of my 9 hr work day plus the 2 hrs I commute each day. They really are impressive! For the sound quality they really aren't anything special. They sound as good as any other non noise cancelling headphones. However they are still really good. Their cordless feature and insane battery life have more than made up for it's short comings. I also bought them referbished and they seemed almost new. Only the box would even give away the fact that they aren't new.

    Great Sound, Awkward Fit

PROS: The sound on these is great! The mids and highs are there, and the bass is really nice and clean. The battery charge lasts a very long time, and they are pretty comfortable to wear for 1-hour workouts. The "earhook" ensures they don't fall completely out of your ears. CONS: The ear canal fitment is awkward and not reliable. I have "normally shaped ears and ear canals", and even after trying all 3-4 ear bud sizes they still don't stay firmly planted in the ear canal when training. Why is this an issue? Because once they become slightly dislodged from the fixed position you place them in--where the sound is great--you lose a lot of the sound and most of the bass. It's easy to just push them back in, but after every set they aren't optimal. Bottom line, I like them and would recommend them and would purchase again at a sale price, but not $200.

I had a very easy going and convinient experience shopping here on my best buy account online. I already knew what it was that I wanted so the steps were pretty simple from there. I just got online and signed into my account and searched up the item it was that I wanted and in this case happened to be beats by dre Bluetooth headphones and I placed my order ans waited patiently tracking my order till it arrived.. I was more than exited when it arrived. Set up the Bluetooth to my phone and from there had my music everywhere I wanted with me. Like my escape from reality. Whenever the day would be overwhelming I would just put on my headphones and from there was in my own world zoning out everything around me. Very pleased with my experience.

Received my Beats by Dr. Dre - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Powerbeats³ Wireless - Black. Worked for about a week. Then it started just stopping, no sound. I thought maybe it was my WiFi, but it has continued to do it. I move the wires around the volume controls and it comes back on. I am hesitant to take it back to Best Buy because it seems every time I have an issue, they have a way to turn it around and I get nothing. I am losing my trust in their products. This is happened on to many items I have purchased from them.

This is the first thing I've ever ordered from Best Buy and it's surpassed my expectations. I've read reviews saying that only the Beats are shipped without anything else so that's what I expected. But they came in the actual box with a Beats charging cable and carrying case with extra ear pieces! The sound quality is superb. I read more reviews saying that they cause pain and are uncomfortable to wear but the best thing to counter that is to experiment with different ear pieces, the ones that come with the beats. The Beats came with a 90 day GeekSquad warranty and a return slip but so far I've had no problems. A great refurbished buy at an amazing price.

At first I was skeptical about getting the refurbished ones. But I didn't feel like dropping the 200$ price tag at the same time. I rolled the dice and gave these a try. They came in less than a week. They look brand new never used and so far are amazing. Don't listen to what other people say about them being garbage. They sound amazing, and great for working out. I've only had mine for less than a week and never had any problems with them yet. I'll keep you updated and leave another comment if there are problems that happen

I was looking for a good wireless earphones because of my job, I have to move between things and wearing my phone (iPhone) earphones could be a huge problem. I decided to buy this refurbished Powerbeats3... it was a good decision because I didn’t want to spend so much money in something I haven’t used before, but after a few weeks of using this product, I can say refurbished products are almost the same as regular. The earphones work great, are confortable after a couple days of use, the battery lasts, whit average use of calls and music, more that 12 hours one charge, controls work well, and Bluetooth range or radio is pretty great, packing was good and delivery time too... I’m so satisfied

These are my newest & best set todate. Absolutely love these Refurb, cant even tell they are not brand new, if can afford brand new, then go for it. Hands down, best sound quality & battery life. I believe the issues they have lies in the controller, so I set it once, then I control thru phone, then they are no issues. They still cut in & out once in awhile but turn off & back on & good to go. (One small thing not to do is when I hung them around my neck not in use, I hooked the ear hook together, (don't do), cause after time it will start wear down ur hooks, u'll see scratch & marks & start go apart.)

Being new to the wireless earphone tech, I was hesitant to spend $199 on a new set of PowerBeats 3 however when I saw the great selection of refurbished colors I knew the price was worth trying them out. I was not disappointed, the quality was “like-new” with all accessories and easy to connect. Sound is good and clear but I wish they’d be a tad bit louder. The battery life is amazing, charge these once every three weeks with daily use. These are great for running and basketball shootaround. Great product, try refurbished if you are equally skeptical, you won’t be disappointed.
