Good quality audio and would be worth the money too if it wasn't for the fact that they suddenly stopped working within four months of use. The bluetooth would cut off and at times it would automatically connect and other times I wouldn't be able to use them until connecting them back with my phone. Not sure why it would disconnect during use (I would skip songs and use the volume button feature), but continued to use them. After coming back from the gym, I went to charge them and the LEDs began flashing randomly. It happened once before and fixed itself after manually restarting it via the forced shut down feature built in. This time it did not restart it was left in a loop. It was disappointing as I would use it for the gym daily. I lift heavy without a spotter so I can't have anything in my pocket so these came in handy. Also used them for cycling ~20 miles three- four times a week because I use a bicycle to commute. Overall wasn't worth the money for the time that it was used for (4 months until it broke) and the hassle of it disconnecting. The package arrived within three days or so and it came with all the original packaging except it had a geek squad sticker. My sister has the exact same model in a different color and she has not had any issues; she did not purchase it refurbished.

Received my Beats by Dr. Dre - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Powerbeats³ Wireless - Black. Worked for about a week. Then it started just stopping, no sound. I thought maybe it was my WiFi, but it has continued to do it. I move the wires around the volume controls and it comes back on. I am hesitant to take it back to Best Buy because it seems every time I have an issue, they have a way to turn it around and I get nothing. I am losing my trust in their products. This is happened on to many items I have purchased from them.

I have never purchased Beat headphones let alone wireless so when I saw this pair of refurbished beat headphones for $69.99 ($30) off a new pair, I decided to try them out. Unfortunately the pair I received was defective after charging all night it would not hold a charge. I exchanged them at my local Best Buy for a brand new pair and it only took about an hour to get a full charge. These work really well and connect wirelessly quickly to my phone and my Mac. In m y opinion just pay the difference and buy brand new.

Already own the Powerbeats2 and the in-line control volume up button stopped working. Really liked the fit and the sound of the Powerbeats3. Left out on a run and 3mi into it, the in-line controls stopped working completely. All the controls would do is turn the volume down. Had to return these refurbished ones but they had the new ones on sale for only $40 more ($150) online. Went ahead and bought them online while I was still at the store and waited for the pick-up to be ready.

Purchased these, loved them. One day I tried to turn them on, and they were completely dead. Took them to the Apple store, they sent me a refurbished pair (not happy about) which worked for about 6 months when the audio started acting funky. I googled to see how to fix, and it said to reset them, which I had to do every single time I used them. Now they won't even reset anymore. I would never invest in a pair of these again. I purchased $50 wireless head phones that work just as good.

they worked great initially, but after about 3 weeks they stopped holding a charge. they die at somewhere around 85%, which means that if my workout from start to finish lasts more than about 1.5 hours, the headphones will not make it the whole time. Extremely frustrating when i first encountered the problem, because if the headphones did not die on one day, they would die about 10 minutes into the workout the next day and i would be lost then. looking for a refund and to probably buy them new hoping it wont happen again

I use these primarily while working out and these have a hard time staying in place. I have tried using the different size ear buds that come with the product and nothing seems to help. My ears are bright red after fighting to get these to fit and stay on while exercising. I was excited to get these and I'm really disappointed that they weren't a good fit for me. I'll be going back to my solo headphones.

I used to have the powerbeats2 before I moved to these. I loved the sound of those. The build was a little janky but even those the front panel on one broke I stayed with them until I lost them. Bought these to replace those and was surprised by how mediocre the sound quality was. I remembered thinking that these must've been the headphones Dr. Dre mixed 'Compton' with (That mixdown was God awful). I took them right back immediately. If you turned them all the way up your bass would be distorted. Just terrible

Not a great product or even a good one. This newly developed set of powerbeats do not provide the same comfort level that the old ones did. They hurt when in ear and around ear. Not only are they a bad product, but they also came without all of the pieces for the headphones. I bought a pair from geek squad and they were missing the rubber stopper that is suppose to be in place before the charger. Not a good look in my opinion.

Purchased this item for my son for Christmas. Had great sound, but volume would automatically go up and down while using them. Returned item to store for exchange and was told that they could only be exchanged for purchase price, not even exchange for another refurbished set of headphones. Asked if product could be sent for repair and was told no. Very disappointed in quality of product and support service.

This is not on Best Buy they just supply the product.....I was very disappointed on the Beats earphones, sound was cheap at an expensive price New or Refurbished low price.....will try to return it and try the Bose if that doesn't work will try something else.....No manual came with product, finally figured it out the Bluetooth problem. But one good thing was the feel around the ear and had no issues with sweat frying the plugs.

I had high expectations for this product, while the fit was perfect and the battery life at satisfactory, I have to say it failed hard at volume. Even when turned all the way up I could hear ppl talking around me or the music in the gym. For being Beats I expected above average in sound, they weren’t so I’ve returned them.

I bought these to go along with my new iPhone since they did away with the head phone jack. I really wish I would have been able to listen to them before I had bought them. The miss and highs are really good but the bass is not that good. The set that apple gives you with the phone sound a lot better and also a lot cheaper.

    Problem when working out

There are multiple issues when I am using these during a workout. The main issues are that the controls stop working and the volume will randomly go up or down. I don’t know if the problem has to do with sweat getting into the controls. The good points with the headphones is that they have good sound and the ear hooks keep them in place.

I have the Power Beats 2 that I use for work and I love them. Wanted another pair for at home so I bought the Beats 3. They worked great for about 5 months now I can not lower or raise the sound or pause. These are definitely not as good quality as the beats 2. Apple should be ashamed to peddle these junky headphones.

The headphones are amazing when new. Refurbished is another story. Depending on who repackaged it depends how good they are. Came with no instructions. Earbuds don’t come in box. The left speaker died within a week. Pay for new or wait for them to go on sale before going to refurbished.

I used these on an airplane and was disappointed. The plane ambient noise disturbed the sound quality on the headphones to the point I had to change them to over the ear headphones to hear what I was listening to. I would not buy them for the price they cost

I purchased the previous beats that worked fine for a while but then the microphone stopped working and since it was out of warrante I bought the b3, unfortunately the mic does not work well on this one. People complain when I call that they can’t hear me over mild wind conditions or light background noise.

Bought a pair of Refurbed Beats by Dre Powerbeats and they lasted 9 month before they stopped working completely. Best Buy would not service them (even with my receipt paperwork & box they shipped them in and me willing to pay for repair) because the S/N was partially worn off the cable on the headphones.

I am not sure if it was because they were refurbished or if it is just the model in general but there was no bass. It was like just listening to the voices and not the background music. It didn’t work for me while I was running. I used them for work during calls and I could hear just fine.
