    Good In Ear Cans

    Posted .

I got these on sale for basically half price. The deal was just too good to pass up for this "Brand" of "High End" in ear headphones. I had previously been wary of purchasing the "Beats" brand due to a lot of negative reviews from my age demographic. The target age demographic for "Beats" always has above average reviews for this product line and seemingly my age demographic is wary of them, especially since we work for our money and know that this product is ridiculously overpriced and focused on style over performance. That said the performance of these in ear headphones is quite pleasing, they do what I intend for them to do, stay in my ears when working out and remain comfortable to the end. Sound quality is good, better than my last pair of in ear headphones from Rocketfish. If you can get them to sit just deep enough into the ear canal the sound quality can be amazing. I have big ears so my problem with getting them to sit properly for the absolute best sound quality is a struggle when working out but even when not snuggly inserted into my ear canal the sound quality is far better than the OEM phones that come standard with your mobile devices. Again had they not been on sale I wouldn't have even considered purchasing them but when I got them home & tested them out the price dictated that I go back and purchase a second pair in pink for the wifey, so she could keep her hands off mine. So basically I got 2 for the price of one and I couldn't be happier. I'm also a sucker for premium packaging and unwrapping these just took the whole experience over the top. The handsfree cell phone features were an added bonus since I used to be a bluetooth only guy for that feature but the expense of BT and the fact that they don't last very long and need to be constantly charged made these even more of an asset. Good job on this product "Beats" your other offerings though I will leave for your target demographic. I am no longer a bass head and prefer a smoother audio soundstage from my headphones than just a heavy dose of bottom.

    Best Exercise Headphones!!

    Posted .

I have tried many headphones for exercising... Bose earbuds, many sony earbuds, etc etc.... Almost all of them fall out at some point during a workout, (running, treadmill, elliptical, basketball, weight training..) At first I found these to slip out of my ears as well. I then replaced the rubber earbuds with the monster cone shaped earbuds and I have not had a problem at all! The bass is also enhanced with the addition of the cone earbuds... They can be found on ebay for $5 and they completely change the experience you'll get with these headphones... Only con is that the headphone jack is not a low profile- right angle jack like other Beats headphones..... I Highly recommend making this cheap/easy modification. It absolutely makes these the best headphones out there for the active avid music listener.

Not a fan of Beats, But great none the less.

I had a thing that I didn't want to get into any Beats headphones because they were way to popular. In NYC, the Bronx especially ( were Im from and reside) allot of people get robbed & hurt for them. Now, I wanted a premium headphone, but also wanting something different, so since 2012 I was with SOL Republic. The Tracks HD was my first pair, I still have them, but refuse to purchase another Cleartalk cable. 2015, Now I needed an in ear to ride my scooter with under my helmet, so I purchased their Bluetooth setup Shadow. Annoyingly these create a seal in the ear to isolate your sound experience. Sound was great, but that seal left me not being able to hear any ambient noise properly under my helmet. So now, after a year and quite a bit of research I decided to go with these. They are, so far, the only premium Bluetooth in ear headphones that doesn't create that sound isolating seal. It fits under my helmet, great sound from music and calls, and I can hear everything around me properly while riding. I'm totally happy, and satisfied.

    Awesome! Esp. when working out...

I use my beats everyday. I listen to music with my beats at work and after work I go to the gym and zone everyone out.. the sound quality is great and it doesn't hurt the inside of my ear like some of the cheap headphones... and plus it adds flavor to your outfit.. but I wish there were more colors and different styles to choose from. (YELLOW is my favorite color.. wish they had one in yellow)

I work outdoors and these headphones are perfect for someone on the go. They are comfortable and have great sound quality..The only thing I don't like is the price they seem really expensive, but I got them as a gift so I doubt I would of paid the price. Sound quality is the best I've heard on in ear suggest if your reading this and debating on getting them "get em" you won't be disappointed!

    Better than I expected

I read several reviews before i purchased these. Most of them were extremely positive or extremely negative. From my own personal experience, I have more positive things to say than negative. The sounds is incredible. I use these 6 times a week at the gym. I do everything from cardio, cross fit, free weights, and they hold up very well. When I'm done, I throw them in my gym bag along with my gloves, water bottle, pad lock, and other items. I not heard any distortion or experienced any shortages with the cords. The only negative is the fit, however it does come with 3 sizes of ear buds. To be honest, I have only tried one which fits, but not great. I combat this by wearing a headband to keep them in place. I have worked out without the headband and they do move, but they have never fallen out of my ears. Overall, i would definitely recommend these for any active users.

I do like the power beats and I use them when I go to the gym and as hands free device when I use my cell phone in the car. They look, sound and feel great I'm just not so sure the hype is worth the $120 I spent on them.

Great sound & Feel, but built Terrible and cheap

    Posted .

I own the Beats Lady Gaga in ear headphones, the Beats Studio Pros, and now the Powerbeats. I was looking for a good working out headphone and I thought these would be them. The fit and sound are Amazing! The negative is after a couple weeks of normal use, the wire starts to crimp by the plugin to your ipod and also the cheaply made volume/pause button starts to choose when it wants to work. The wires on these headphones are not the same quality as the other Beats products. They are not as thick and tangle. The headphones will raise and lower the volume on its own, and sometimes will fast forward songs without warning, and turn on the voice control through my Iphone. Extremely annoying! Monster isn't very helpful either in responding to emails to help alleviate the situation. Just giving everyone a fair warning about the wire and you probably will have issues with the cheaply made volume control button. Two of my other teammates have the same issue with the Black Powerbeats.

    Great sound -- Cheap Peripherals

My girlfriend bought these for me for our anniversary so it was a bit of a surprise and I did not have much background on the product. I go to the gym frequently through the week, which is why she bought these particular ones. They fit my ear great, they do not slip off, and it does not hurt my ear. It also comes with a nice little travel case for protection and it has different tips to fit different size ears. The part that actually produces sound is great! The short cord length is nice because it doesn't get in my way during a workout. It also comes with a longer cord if you prefer to switch them out. My biggest complaint with this product is that Apple pretty much monopolized the company by making their phone ports different from all the other companies. So if Beats audio wants sales it has to make its products readily able to fit and work great with iPhones, iPods, etc. Now don't get be wrong the product works fine with my brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 but unfortunately the sound, skip, answer calls, etc. which is all done using the buttons on the headset does not function with my device. It's not a huge deal because I can still switch using my phone or by making playlists etc. but to me it is somewhat frustrating that phone companies keep making these trademarks on their devices. All in all the fit and sound is great and I do enjoy using them during the gym. It cancels surrounding sound and stays comfortable during a high movement workout; however, if you are using anything other than an Apple device do a little research first and find an application or something you can use if you plan on using the buttons on the headset.

Overall a great set of ear buds

    |
    Posted .

I purchased the Power Beats because I needed a good quality headphone for working out. They stay on my head with no problem through all my workouts. I also was looking for something durable because I am tired of spending $80 twice a year for worthless headphones. I also purchased the extended warranty from best buy (I had to mention it because the employee did not) because I wanted to make sure that these lasted be 2 years at LEAST. So far so good, but I have only had them for a month now so durability is unknown. Overall, best sound quality I've heard in a bud.

Good product, but could be great

    |

The sound quality on these are absolutely amazing. The highs and lows are clean and crisp. They're definitely a fantastic pair of earphones. The problem, which is a HUGE problem is that they don't last long. If a drop of sweat gets onto/into the mic the volume control fails and the microphone ceases to work. I would understand this in any other product, but these are meant for athletic use! They're made to not fall out off your ear while you're playing sports and you mean to tell me that they couldn't take people's sweat into consideration? Who doesn't sweat when they're working out or just being active?? I'd recommend them, but I would say that it is MANDATORY to get the extended warranty from Best Buy. I've had to swap my paid 4 times already, and thankfully the warranty allows me to just drop off the old pair and get a new pair. If I hadn't paid for the extra warranty I would be hating the product..

    Great for runners

I really love these! I am so glad i upgraded from the beats by Dre to the power beats. These feel awesome when i am running - distances . I can hear them plenty when i am in the road downtown and hook them on the outside of my shirt - so that i can be more traffic aware. Great also that they come w/ 3 sized ear buds. Comfortable and easy to keep organized with the awesome carrying case. I can use the cord that extends the cord length when doing yoga - love this. Randomly the mic will have background noise on phone calls - if i unplug and plug back in this can sometimes fix

    Best Corded Headphone I've Owned

    |
    Posted .

So I've owned many a pair of headphone, many brands in my life so please take my review as unbiased. So I was looking for a corded option headphone for when I may forget to charge my wireless ones and for when bluetooth signal isn't the best. I recently owned the Apple earbuds and the Samsung earbuds neither which I cared for because they don't really sit well in my ears. I do enjoy Beats as a product I've owned many of their products in the past and currently own Wireless Studio Beats & PowerBeats2 Wireless in addition to this new pair I bought. What I love about the PowerBeats style is the changing earbud style and the over ear clip. For people who experience pain or headphones that fall out these would definitely be for you. The cord is pretty long which is nice, the sound quality is what you would expect from a Beats product, so if you have never owned Beats you may want to go into a store and listen before buying. Overall I think they are great, they fit nicely, the sound quality is what I enjoy and they seem durable. Also note to first time Beats owners Best Buy no longer covers Beats in the GSP plans but since Apple bought out Beats they now will repair/place Beats at most Apple Stores.

    Great athletic use earbuds

    |
    Posted .

These earbuds deliver excellent sound quality for the price, obviously if you want top of the line quality you'll pay a bit more but these are an excellent purchase. The only complaint is the cable has came loose which can effect the sound quality but that's why you spend the small amount for Best Buy's excellent Geek Squad Protection. I recommend these earbuds for anyone who wants to listen to music while doing anything fitness related!

    Great for staying in place...

    |
    Posted .

These things fit snug in the ear and do not move, even when running. The sound is also solid for ear buds. My only gripe is the volumne control device attached to the left ear wire. It is meant to allow you to fast forward / change volume / pause without needing to touch your device. The device is flimzy. The real problem occurs in damp weather. If even a little amount of moisture gets in the device, it will randomly pause or skip songs. Wish they made a cheaper option with the volumn control device. The $139 price is too expensive for this product.

    Great headphones for runners

    |
    Posted .

I have been trying to find headphones forever that fit in my ear properly and don't fall out during activity. These work really well! I don't have to worry about constantly adjusting or fixing them while I'm running, I can just put them in and go. They also have a great sound quality like all the beats headphone do. The only thing I can complain about is that I wish the cord length were shorter (it sometimes get in the way while I'm moving) and they are a bit pricey. Overall they are a great pair of active headphones

great sound with a secure fit

    |
    Posted .

I got these because I needed an alternative to my Bose in-ear headphones, which keep having problems with the microphone. Generally, in-ear headphones don't fit me well or feel secure, so I thought the over-the-ear band would help. It does, with 2 exceptions: 1) the over-the-ear band is bulky and doesn't place nice with the ear pieces of my eyeglasses; and 2) despite being secured to my head/ears, the ear tips do not stay inside my ears. All in all, I much prefer the feel and fit of the Bose sport in-ear, but the Bose microphone fails if you accidentally sweat during a workout. Until Bose can get their act together, these are my go-to headphones for workouts and bike rides.

    Can't Beat Beats for sound!

    |
    Posted .

My son had to have Beats headphones for Christmas last year, so that is what he got. He loved them, but found that the bulky headphones were not always practical and definitely not convenient like his old earbuds. But, he did not want to go back to the lighter sound of earbuds. So, when Beats had earbuds advertised that became his birthday request. He loves them, and prefers that they have the over-the-ear fit rather than the in-ear that sometimes slip. He also liked that he could choose what he thought was the coolest color (important for a teenager). My only complaint? They are overpriced due simply to the Beats name, in my humble opinion. They are a quality product, but the price points of $150 to $400 (depending on the model) is crazy. If it weren't for a special request for birthday or holiday, I couldn't really justify them. Even so, I hesitated. But, in the end, he uses them day in and day out, so I decided that spreading the cost over the amount of usage made it tolerable.

    Awesome sound quality

    Posted .

I have a pair of these headphones myself, so I bought this pair for my wife. She loves them! The sound quality is outstanding and they are very stylish. We both love the fact that they have the ear clip so they are secured in your ears while active. They only issue with this particular pair is the color. My wife has found that the white color is difficult to keep clean (even in the case, which is also white).
