Excellent sound quality and bluetooth range

Three months ago, I was in the market for a new pair of headphones. I looked at many different brands, styles, and price points. In the end I decided on purchasing the Powerbeats 3 by Beats. When I was in my teenage years, I purchased a pair of Bose over the ear headphones, and absolutely fell in love with high end, expensive headphones. This led me down a road of purchasing quality headphones for the years to come. I made my decision to purchase the Powerbeats 3 based on their build quality, sound quality, long lasting batteries, and exceptional Bluetooth range. The Powerbeats 3 are marketed as fitness headphones which means that one of their best qualities is that they will stay in your ears, no matter how much jumping, running, or moving around that you do. This is accomplished with a rubberized hook that extends up from the top of the headphones and wraps around your ears, essentially locking them into place in your ear canal. The buds are at an angle to the headphones, which make them fit into your ears comfortably, and at least in my ears make a solid seal which blocks out outside noise. I find that when I wear them even without any audio playing the ambient noises are greatly reduced in my ears. With music playing, I cannot hear the outside noises at all. A similarly rubberized band connects the two ear pieces, which I wear behind my neck. The built-in remote sits on the band just under your left ear, allowing for volume control, and moving on to the next track. The buttons are pronounced, and easy to use without being able to see them. On top of the left earbud is a flush power button that is easy to use and provides a satisfying melodic tone that informs you when the headphones are powered on and connected to your Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth range is exceptional as well, far outperforming the range of Bluetooth devices I’ve owned in the past. With the Powerbeats 3 I can leave my phone in my bedroom and walk throughout the downstairs of my home without losing signal. This equates to about 35 ft range, including through several walls. When I am working outside, I have been able to go up to 75 ft away line of sight without losing signal. Compared to the previous Bose headphones I owned, the Powerbeats 3 headphones have slightly decreased sound quality, but that is to be expected since they are different styles of headphones. The Powerbeats 3 have high amount of bass to them due to the battery powered drivers built into the headphones. I think this is due to them being classified as fitness headphones, as many people working out like to have loud, heavy bass music going to pump them up and motivate them to work harder. The audio isn’t drowned out by the base though, but rather has full, and rich sound that is just heavier on the bass side. The volume isn’t quite what I’d like it to be, as sometimes I’ve attempted to turn up the sound, and found it lacking at the top volume. This has only accounted for maybe 2 or 3 percent of the time I’m listening to them though. I often listen to piano music on these headphones while working on my homework, and find the piano sound full and rich, leaving my completely satisfied with the sound quality. One way that these headphones completely outclass much of their competition is with the battery life. While many of its competitors sport a battery life of around 6 hours, the Powerbeats 3 clock in at a whopping 12 hours, meaning I can go days without having to charge them. When needing to charge, they have a quick charge function that will give an hour of play time off only a 5 min charge. To charge the batteries completely takes approximately 1 hour. On the bottom of the left ear bud there is a micro USB slot for charging. Even though the charging port is left exposed and uncovered, the manufacturer claims that it won’t be damaged by sweat, rain, or moisture of any kind which is important for fitness headphones. Overall, I am a big fan of these headphones, and would definitely purchase them again. The superior build quality makes me believe that they will last for years to come, as long as I can keep them in my possession and don’t lose them. Although rarely on the quieter side, the sound quality is excellent, if not exceptional for the type of headphones they are. It is incredibly convenient to be able to leave my phone sitting in one place and be able to walk around my home, or the gym and be confident in the Bluetooth range. I would recommend these headphones for anyone wanting a pair of quality Bluetooth earbuds in the $100-$200 range.

Great wireless headphone for hiking! AAA+++!!!

Let me preface by saying that in the past year and a half of hiking (I hike at least 2 times a week and walk around the neighborhood at least 3 times a week), I was using Jaybird X2s. The X2s were excellent but I needed to get a new pair because I really beat this pair up. Things I noticed about the Jaybird X2s: - Excellent sweat/water resistance (even while hiking in 4 hours of rain in Yosemite) - Used with Comfy earbuds, you can absolutely remove ambient noise (which can be a bad thing if you are hiking alone but great if you just want to listen to music) -I never wore them underear during hiking because they didn't seem to stay in the ear while hiking. When worn over the ear, they stayed put nicely. -I used them to listen to music on an iphone 6S plus. I rarely used them to make/take calls because where I hike is remote and has no cell service. -Bluetooth connectivity was good but not great. Connecting always required me to go into the iOS Bluetooth settings to find the device. So as I researched for a new pair, I narrowed it down to the Jaybird X3s and the Beats Powerbeats 3. About 2 weeks ago I purchased the Jaybird X3s based on my past positive experience with the X2s and I got a 10% off coupon at Best Buy. I tried out the X3s for those two weeks and here is my feedback: -The look great (I bought the black pair) and are smaller than the X2s in that they don't stick out of your ear as noticeably. -I do like the new charging mechanism on the in line control vs. the X2s where you plugged into a port on one of the earpods. The reason I like this is because the cover's attachment on the earpod that exposes the port to charge the headphones on the X2s eventually broke...so whenever I would charge the X2s I had to make sure to keep the plastic cover close by otherwise I wouldn't have anything to cover the exposed port after completing the charge. -Even though they seem smaller, I still wore the X3s over ear because when I tried to wear them underear, they seemed to feel like they were going to fall out. I even tried the various ear fins and different Comfy earbuds and it didn't make a difference. -Sound quality was pretty good and seemed better than the X2s. Sound isolation with the Comfy earbuds was excellent. -Connectivity: The Bluetooth connectivity was on par with the X2s. However, connecting to the new MySound app worked probably two times over the 2 week trial period. I had to call Jaybird support and we went through all the troubleshooting steps and it still wouldn't connect the MySound app to my Apple iPhone 6S plus. Looking at other forums online, others had the same issue. After my experience with the MySound application on the X3s not working, I decided to return them. I opted to try the Powerbeats 3 because the price reduced to $149.99 (from $199.99) and Best Buy honored my 10% coupon on top of that! After trying the Powerbeats out for several days, I couldn't be happier. What I like about the Powerbeats 3s is that I totally feel secure with them on. Because of the ear hooks, I don't feel like they will even fall off my ears. Aside from the secure fit, I actually do prefer that the earpods allow me to hear ambient sounds. This is particularly important because I often hike alone and need to be aware of my surroundings. -They sound great, a little more bassy compared to the X2/X3. I do like that option of custom EQ via MySound app on X3s but it unfortunately didn't work for me...and I believe you have to have an internet connection for the MySound application to work (which I didn't have very often in the remote areas I hiked..I'd check on whether an internet connection is needed with Jaybird support if that's a concern). -At the $149.99 plus 10% discount, the Powerbeats 3 are comparably priced to the Jaybird X3s at $129.99 retail (although I see the X3s just now went on sale for $99.99) -Connectivity: With the Powerbeats 3 this is much better/simpler than the Jaybirds. Whenever I power up the Powerbeats 3s, the iphone recognizes them...I don't have to go into settings in iOS to find the device and pair them!!! The Bluetooth connection is really strong. I can listen to music anywhere in my 3 story townhouse...no connection loss at all. -Battery life: Awesome! When I do any major peak hiking, I'd expect to be out on the trail for 6-8 hours. These bad boys never die out with that 12 hour battery life. Overall, I like the Powerbeat 3s. If I had to pay the original $199.99 retail price for them, I don't believe they are worth it. But with a drop in price and my 10% discount, that price is on par with the Jaybirds and I get a much longer battery life, strong secure fit, and seamless connectivity. The only thing I'd recommend with the Powerbeats 3s is to add a EQ to customize the sound like the MyApp on the X3s.

Today I am here to talk to you all about my great experience with the Powerbeats 3! Headphones are a huge part of my day. From zoning out on my work, to working out at the gym music is one of the most important mediums in my life. When looking for a good pair of headphones there are some important aspects that are a necessity for them to be perfect for different aspects of your life. The Powerbeats 3 hit a homerun on such things as water resistance, sound quality, comfort and practical usage. Many of the aspects of the Powerbeats are perfect for the active and athletic user. I myself am constantly in the gym either lifting or playing basketball. The water resistance aspect is perfect for when you're getting sweaty after a good workout! Another great aspect for an active user is the over the ear grips that don't allow them to fall out like headphones. This is especially useful if you are playing any sort of contact sport that involves jumping or sudden movements. That paired with the wireless bluetooth capability minimizes the use of cords. Cords are one thing that can always get in the way when lifting weights. They at times get caught on machines, free weights, your arms or other protrusions and it can really become a pain. The bluetooth capability is also useful for playing sports because it allows you to set your phone away from you and out of your pockets allowing for more freedom of movement. Lastly and most importantly we get the overall sound quality. One thing that Beats has done so well as a brand compared to many competitors is the level of bass and quality in their headphones. This is the number one most important aspect to me as I would not enjoy headphones if I did not enjoy the sound of them. This area is where the PowerBeats really prevail over everyone else. The base is deep and full of the appropriate amount of vibrations without draining out the vocals of any song. These headphones are best if you listen to Hip-Hop, pop or electronic music but will be satisfactory for every genre. The only area of improvement needed for the PowerBeats 3 is the overall volume of the headphones. They tend to be relatively quiet compared to other brands on full volume and for a active user you use that volume to get the most out of your workout. The positives most definitely outweigh that small negative though and that is why I give the PowerBeats 3 a 5 stars out of 5! These headphones are perfect for anybody with a active lifestyle that loves to enjoy music as the workout.

Quality Product for the Mobile Listener

I am writing this with just under two months of use and experience with this product. I use these primarily for working out, walking around campus, or just when I want to listen to something casually. Also, to give a little more context, I have these paired with my Samsung S9+ Android phone. Although Beats are now produced and designed to work with Apple products, I have had an exceptional experience with them. Sound Quality: The audio produced is great for the pricing and style of headphone. Music tones are well rounded on the low and high end while still delivering a strong mid-range. The bass of each song is clear and noticeable and would compete against any earbud in the same price range. The maximum volume level is fairly high and the quality doesn’t get distorted at this max. Durability: These would be a great set of wireless earbuds for anybody who sweats or walks in the rain. I have not experienced any issues with these as far as water resistance goes, however, I have protected them in heavy rains. The buds come with a small travel case that can be used to store them when not in use. This has been a convenient way of protecting them in my bag and against any trauma. The wiring, buttons, ear pieces, charging port, and all other components of what comes with it has shown no signs of wear and continue to look and behave like brand new. Comfort: Anyone who has struggled with their earbuds falling out in the past will appreciate the fit of these headphones and how well they stay on your head. After opening the package, you will be given the opportunity to pick the size of the piece that goes in your ear. After finding what is right for you there shouldn’t be any need to switch around. The weight of the product is relatively light, which adds to the overall feel of the experience. Performance: The functionality of the features work as anyone would expect them to. The battery life holds up well with a few days of average use before needing a charge. The charge time is pretty quick for how much playback time there is. The Bluetooth range will please anyone who has tried other wireless setups before. The button functions work similar to other headphones in the market. What is advertised is a close representation of what to expect. Anybody considering purchasing these are looking at a great pair of wireless earbuds.

    Satisfied Powerbeats 3 Customer

The Beats Powerbeats 3 are a recent purchase that I bought from my local Best Buy store. The Powerbeats 3 are ideal for the typical gym rat or runner. These earphones are also excellent for the everyday commuter like your typical college student walking from class to class. I reviewed this product in four categories including the battery, sound, wireless (range), the earphone comfort, and earphone pricing. Battery The battery life of the Powerbeats 3 is nothing short of excellent. The battery is a huge upgrade from the past Powerbeats 2 and other previous models. The Powerbeats 3 come with a new Apple W1 chip, that gives the user up to 12 hours of battery life. Apple decided to stay with the original microUSB port. A charging cable comes included inside the earphone box. With just five minutes of charge, the earphones give the user an hour of playback sound. Because the battery life and other features have greatly improved, these earphones are rather pricey, around 150$. Sound Quality The Powerbeats 3 earphones sound is the best quality yet. The bass on these earphones have a more clean and clear bass sound, which is something the Powerbeats 2 had an issue with. Not only is the bass a huge improvement, the mids and highs have clearer sound than ever. And since one size doesn’t always fit every ear type, the Apple Powerbeats 3 come with four different earphone tips, so you can choose the pair that best fits comfortably. Wireless (Range) The wireless range on the beats is a huge upgrade from the previous generation Powerbeats. The Powerbeats 3 remain connected with my apple iPhone 7 plus from over 75 feet with clean and clear sound. This is a very helpful feature for the typical gym rat. You can leave your phone on the exercise machine, and walk over to the nearest water fountain for a drink and not lose connectivity with your device. The W1 Apple chip allows easy Bluetooth connectivity with the newer Apple devices such as the iPhone 7 plus, but the Powerbeats 3 can also connect very easily with Android or any previous apple iPhone models. The W1 Apple chip once connected to an Iphone device, the earphones will automatically connect with any other Apple device associated with the iPhone such as an iPad, MacBook, Applewatch linked to your Apple iCloud account, so there won’t be any lengthy and unnecessary pairing session.

So I'll be honest, this isn't the cheapest pair of wireless headphones out there, but this sure is one of the best. I have done my research, believe me, and I have spend hundreds of dollars of buying and trying and returning and countless hours on looking for a good set of headphones. I ended up with these and I'm glad I did. I use these mainly for working out, and as a grad student I also use them to listen to online recorded lectures. I can go about 4-5 hours using them before I start getting tired with them in my ear and by that time the around the ear hook starts to getting annoying, other than that I love them. One of the most important thing for me is fit and the ability for it to stay in my ear, and this stay put and they don't move. They have this double ridged ear pieces that do just that. I also found that when the wire is in the back it starts to get annoying, so I prefer the wire of be in front of my neck and its works perfectly. I mostly do running so I'm always moving and they don't even budge. The next most important thing for me, and it may even be more important that staying in my ear is the sound quality. This will be my 3 Beats headset, and I also have Beat in 2 of my cars, and the sound is incomparable at this price point. I mostly listen to RnB and Hip Hop and the sound is crisp and the base is deep. The batter life is also amazing, I have had them for about a month and a half and I use them moderately and I've only charged them 2 or 3 times. Another thing that I really liked was the W1 chip. As soon as I paired it with my iPhone, it synced with my MacBook Pro and my Apple Watch, just like that. That was pretty cool and I wish other things in life would sync that easily. So coming from someone who did the research and watched every youtube video about them, I would get them in a heartbeat. I got them on sale for ($149) which is a good deal, I think ($200) is a bit much so wait for a good deal and make sure you snag them!

I got these on a great sale during the holiday season. I have used them as my primary headphone for about 2 months and they definitely provide me with the sound quality I want. The deep bass provides a great listening experience while not overpowering the vocals and other instruments in the music. The bass also gives great energy while working out. The comfort is not the greatest as they are intended for fitness. This being said, I would expect them to stay in my ears very well, and they have not disappointed, although I do adjust them periodically. If you are wanting sound isolation, these do pretty well, but they do not block out all ambient noise until you have the volume almost all the way up and they are fitted to your ears perfectly If you have an iPhone or other Apple products, these are definitely worth the money. With the A1 chip they have great range and the set up is seamless

I needed a decent pair of headphones for a 12 hour flight. I’m glad my boyfriend pushed me to go for these! They’re wireless and rechargeable. It only takes two hours to charge them for 12 hours. I love that if you’re in a rush, a quick 5-minute charge can get you a full hour of use. PERFECT for the gym. (I’m not sure how accurate this is- but I’ve heard/read that you can leave these charging for longer than necessary and they won’t overcharge.) The battery life is great. I typically use my beats every day and only need to charge them once a week or less. The small cable that connects the two ear pieces is adjustable and never tangles. Comes with the charger (not the wall adapter piece) and a cute little silicone case to carry them in. I personally don’t tend to use the case but it’s nice to have. (I’ve never had a problem with my headphones being harmed otherwise.) The ear buds are comfortable and they never fall out, even during my workouts. The volume and play/pause is adjustable and accessible on the left side of the wire. They were simple to set up via Bluetooth and they connect instantly to my device when turned on. (A tone plays in the earpiece to let you know when they are powered on/off or need to be charged.) I really love these headphones. The sound quality is great. They were definitely worth spending $200 for.

I already had the Beats 2 and got these when a deal presented itself to me. I have not regretted it. The syncing is indeed quick and smooth to my iPhone 7 Plus, the battery life is at least doubled if not more, and the best thing is the way they fit. I liked the Beats 2 fit but Beats 3 made a minor change that I believe is phenomenal and very comfortable. Not only do these fit better, are just way more comfortable, and hold in place even better, they also get in my ear in a better way to have the sound be even better, richer, dynamic, and fuller. When I read some reviews, I was skeptical; however, I decided to give them a shot for the better battery life alone. I got that and a whole lot more. And I love the all black sleek look. So sharp and nice. Both styling and professional. Here's a big unknown surprise... the mic is way better for calls. I have effectively replaced my excellent Platronics headset for most calls because I have isolated audio in both ears to hear that one guy on a conference call who must speaking 25 feet from his mic and the people on my phone can hear me clearly and without distracting sounds or changes in volume from the mic not picking up my voice as well as this one now does. This makes it a serious business contender for a headset.

I bought a pair of Apple Powerbeats3's for myself a few months ago; I bought these for my son. My son & I are avid music listeners; he uses them to game on his iDevices. These paired to his iPad & iPhone within seconds, and can switch easily from one to the other with little intervention. They pair just as easily with my iMac. The selection of tips that come with the Beats work for a wide range of ear sizes. The sweat resistance does work. The over-ear 'loops' are extremely comfortable, take little time to get used to, and work very well to keep them in place. The sound is incredible throughout the range; bass response is very good for the size. They do blow most other competition out of the water at this price range. These WILL pair, with some minor effort, to a Microsoft-based PC / laptop; I use them for my work computer. Three minor CONs: [1] Retain the ~3" micro-USB cord that comes with the headset. For charging, the cord is useless due to its short length, and any micro-USB cord will charge. BUT THIS CORD (unlike other micro-USB cords) is needed for firmware updates...other micro-USB cords WILL NOT work for firmware updates. They really should tell you this. [2] To protect the $200 pair of Powerbeats3, they give you a soft silicone carrying sleeve, which is sorta a joke. [3] Okay, Apple owns them now; switch to the Lightning cord!

I bought these updated Beats after having had the previous version(PowerBeats2) for many years and loving them. I use these headphones primarily for 2 reasons: working out(weights, running, interval training) and for blocking out noise while doing work for school. For workouts: As with the previous generation these headphones are great. I don't hear all the typical gym sounds that can be distracting. I only hear what I want to hear, my music. They stay in no matter what kind of movements I do. Sometimes the cord does get stuck to my neck and that will cause the headphones to come out slightly on occasion. For school: I am learning programming and school can be a very loud place, even in class. I use these headphones to help block out the sounds of my peers so that I can stay better focused on my work. They work wonders and I absolutely am able to concentrate better while using them. They charge fast and last for a long time. I've had no issues with these headphones at all.

Before I discovered Beats, I was spending $10 here, $20 there (at least) once a month on headphones. There was always something wrong; the sound would go out, the buds wouldn't stay in my ear, too bulky to run in, etc. and I’d have to buy another pair. Now $10, $15, $20 doesn’t seem like much but if you’re doing that once a month or every few weeks then that adds up. Since I had so many problems with headphones, I was really skeptical about paying so much for Beats but after adding up how much I spent in the past, I figured what more can I lose. I researched and contemplated for months before I splurged. That was about 6-7 years ago and I still have the headphones today. They still work too but through wear and tear, it’s time for another pair. Since they still work, I was going to jimmy-rig them so I can continue to use them but I feel like I got my monies worth so why not buy a new pair. I said all that to say, I’ll pay $150+ for headphones any day if they last me that long. It’s a lot less expensive than buying cheap headphones every few weeks. The only thing I do not like is--apparently, since Apple took over, you can no longer buy the warranty on it.

If you're looking for some good headphones for the gym, these are a great option. They are both Sweat and Water Resistant, meaning they won't get ruined after hard workout or after a run when raining. As far as sound they are good for Bluetooth sport headphones. I also have the Bose Sound Sport Wireless, and I would say they definitely have more bass than Bose SSW and more volume. As far as comfort they are good for a working out. Just make sure to find a good fit with the different size ear tips for them to stay in your ear comfortably. Unlike the Bose, expect these to block out noise a bit more. So that might be an issue for people who like to run outside and be aware of their surroundings, in that case go with the Bose or something else. Battery life is the best compared to Jaybird X3 and Bose SSW. A couple of things I wish they could of done better is the USB charging cable is too short and kept the Powerbeats 2 carrying case with a zipper instead of this new open design case to make sure they don't fall out. Overall, don't expect some Hi-Def quality sound or over the ear comfort, cause again these are Wireless Sport Headphones for workouts. One last thing, these are great if you plan on working out without your phone with you and have an Apple Watch to listen to music through Apple Music.

Ok, so I really wanted to find a better (cheaper) option, and even bought the JLAB wireless headphones for all the features, but ended up returning the and getting these, solid black on sale $122.99. Listening to them right now. The professional reviews say over the top, unreal bass, but I LOVE THE BASS! In fact, I can't imagine not having some bass when listening to music. I run with my headphones, and I like the idea of these NOT being noise cancelling, as I have actually seen a fatal accident with someone running with headphones in! Also, I am excited about the 12 hour battery life (haven't gotten to test it, or the quick charge feature), as this is the longest battery life on the market that I'm aware of, and as a runner, I can see myself running 12 hours straight-NOT! However, repeated uses without charging is really nice vs having to charge often, or finding them dead right before going for that spontaneous run. Bad: these haven't been proven to be very sturdy historically, so definitely use the carry case when not in use. Not water proof as I understand it, but really? Who is gonna swim in these! Sweat proof so far! Some others out there might have more features or possibly better sound, and definitely cheaper, but over all best out there for my $122.99!

These earphones are very comfortable and sound good once you find the correct size ear tip for you from the four that are included in the package. The sound is much better if you can get an airtight seal around your ear canal, however this may affect comfort slightly and makes it harder to hear traffic if you run outdoors (put safety first and sound quality second). There are obviously better sounding earphones and headphones out there, but for the price and intended use (during athletic activities), you won't find better right now at this level of comfort in my opinion. The included case is compact and durable. Connecting to recent model Apple products (iPhones, MacBooks etc.) is incredibly easy thanks to the W1 chip, both for initial pairing and for switching among devices later on. Battery life is great, and the % charge is easy to monitor using an iPhone or Mac. The only downside of these earphones that I see is that they charge by Micro-USB, which means that iPhone users need to tote around an extra cable in addition to the Lighting cable used to charge the phone itself. However, the included Micro-USB cable is very compact, so this isn't too much of a hassle.

Exactly what I've been looking for

I've tried many set of bluetooth headphones looking for a pair that would be comfortable, lightweight, great sound and not annoy me with noise when walking with them on. This set hit on all points. I had purchased the BeatsX before this pair and I really liked the sound and fit and the lightning charging. However, the cable of the BeatsX was too long for me and when I walked or moved around the cable made noise induced into the headset just by hitting a shirt collar or zipper. They also were a bit in the way on the sides of my face. The Powerbeats sound great. They stay put and the cable makes no noise at all as it's just the right length and can be cinched up with the management slide. Battery life seems pretty good so far but time will tell on this. As for convenience in connecting to all my devices (MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and watch) these totally rock in that I don't have to re associate with every device like other headphones due to the Apple W1 chip making seamless transitions a breeze. Bluetooth connection rocks as well in that it doesn't drop like some others I've used.

I’ve purhased the powerbeats 1 & 2 before which I ended up returning because their bluetooth would act up... this new chip they’ve added in the PowerBeats 3 is awesome. The range is waaay better and doesnt disconnect much, only have minor connection issues when the battery starts getting low which is understandable. Also, the battery truly does last 12 hours, maybe more! I can usually get use out of these for 3 days before having to fully charge them and I listen to music/youtube videos all the time. Charge time probably takes an hour or so for a full charge but for an hour a quick charge is 10mins as advertised! I’ve had these for a few months so far and haven’t had any major issues. I also noticed that your connection can depend on your phone, my iPhone6 would disconnect more to my PB3 and not have as much as a range but my new iPhone7 Plus has a way better grip on connectivity and range (can walk really far from phone without losing connection. A MUST have if you love listening to music all the time. Looking forward to see what they do with the Powerbeats 4.

Battery life is excellent. They charge fast, and the battery has lasted all day for me. Comfort is excellent, for an around-the-ear type earbud. I've gone several hours wearing them with no issues. They also come with 3 additional sizes of earbud tips (in addition to the factory-installed pair), for an adjustable fit. Sound is great. I have Bose headphones, and those sound a bit better, but rest assured - these sound very good, and comparing the sound to Bose is nitpicking. Volume is good, but they're not going to be unbearably loud at max volume. Bluetooth connects easily and has good range and clarity. Accessories are typical - these come with a 6in USB cable for charging, the extra earbud tips, and a small, soft carrying case. The case doesn't have a zipper or magnet closure, but it seems to hold the earbuds in there just fine. I was just shaking them in the case, with the opening facing downward, and they didn't fall out. Can't comment about taking phone calls with them, because I never answer the phone... Price: ludicrous, but so is Bose pricing, and people are still like moths to the flame...

I absolutely love these. Perfect for any kind of music. I personally listen to a lot of acoustic guitar covers and it sounds great. Or if I have something heavy for lifting or decide to try a rap jam, it's awesome. I tried 3 different brand pairs of wireless earbuds, 1 I bought on amazon, and 2 i bought from best by, I returned all 3 because non of them sounded nearly as good as my old klipsh wired buds. I thought maybe wireless just can't compare in sound to wired ones. Then I saw these powerbeats and figured one more try or else I'll go back to wired again. And I loved these things. The sound is a perfect blend of highs and lows, and I can crank the volume up nice and loud on these jf I want when im getting crazy working out. They surprisingly blew my Bose soundsports out of the water. The bose are the last set i returned and these powerbeats sound so much better and the volume goes louder than than. And to top it off I caught these on sale today, I was totally surprised and got $70 off. So in the end they were the cheapest and sounded the best, however even if they were full price, I'd still buy them again.
