    Beautiful pair of headphones

These are really nice headphones. I am a musician, so I am a bit particular to how my music sounds. I’ve used JBL Everest Elite 750 noise cancelling headphones, I’ve used Sony extra bass over ear headphones, I have the Sony WF-1000XM3s, AirPods 2, Bose soundsports, and now these. I will say the noise cancelling is better than JBL, but not as good as Bose QC35s. Still very good. Transparency is a bit lacking, but that’s my personal opinion. Comfort wise, I can wear these for about 4 hours before my ears start to hurt and I have to take a 15 minute break or so. They connect instantly to my iPhone, no connection issues at all. No video lag either. Battery lasts me three days of typical use before I have to charge them up. Now the sound is where I get picky. The default sound stage for a pair of JBL headphones has a lot of mid, not too much high and not enough bass. Sony relies heavily on bass, and sacrifices highs for the sake of booming bass. Bose has just enough boom to satisfy bass heads while keeping the mids and vocals clean and the highs are there. These headphones error on the side of too little bass. Default these headphones have pop in the bass, but no boom. The highs are punchy and a bit poppy, and the mids are clear. To make these sound the best, you’ll have to start with the bass booster equalizer setting on your phone and go from there. These are amazing headphones. If they are $250 or less, I say go for it. $300, not worth it

Waited for months for these to come out, returned

I waited months for these to come out as the Apple rumor mill suggested they were coming soon. I was so thrilled with the ease of unfolding to turn on, charge with lightning and noise cancellation. But these are just not comfortable. I ended up returning them for the Studio3s which were on sale for $100 less than these. The comfort difference is night and day. That to me is more important than how they are charged or the ease of turning on and off. I think this is a product you want to try on for sure. I will say they look a little odd on your head due to the thick padding and sitting on your ears, very wide.

    Better than expected

After losing my beloved Bose headphones on an airplane, I received these Beats as a birthday gift. I was a little skeptical at first, as I loved my Bose so much, but these exceeded my expectations and then some. They work really well at canceling noise- I would say better than my previous pair and the sound quality is great. They also hold a charge for quite a long time. I would definitely recommend these- especially for frequent travelers.
