Studio beats sound and look great. Comfortable. Stay charged a a significant amount of time. Like the carrying case also. They are little expensive at $300. It helped that they were on sale ($200) around Christmas. Thank Best Buy.

I've had this a few weeks now and am really enjoying them. They are very comfortable and provide great sound. I think they are overpriced, which is the reason for the 4-star rating.

Overall they are not a bad set of headphones. They are definitely bass heavy but have good treble to balance it out. They are not worth $299 but if you can get them on sale since a newer model is available they are good. Depending on your music taste you will love these or hate them. They are not the most musically accurate headphones out there but do have a fun sound to them. If you like Rap/R&B, rock, pop, etc these are great for that. Anything heavily detailed and acoustical instruments don't sound as clean and natural so some music doesn't work well with the beats studio 2. The noise cancellation always has a slight hiss with no audio playing but works well at muting lower frequencies of ambient noise. Overall I do enjoy them but they aren't perfect.

We bought a pair for the whole family. Great sounding, very comfortable to wear. The color choices are great. Stylish to boot. Buy them now before they redesign them or something. Best sounding in the price range!

The over the ear pads are very comfortable. It is on par with the BOSE that I own. The sound quality of this earphone is comparable to that of my BOSE quiet comfort, and I got a great deal on this BEATS Studio, so overall, this item is by far the better deal for me. I do highly recommend this unit for those who are music enthusiasts. The only upgrade that I would have chosen would have been to also get the bluetooth (but for another $100 I didn't want to spend that addition).

These are very comfortable and have great sound quality. The only complaint I have is that they are not wireless. However, this was my fault. The description says there is battery life and even three guys at the store could not verify 100% if they were wireless, which is what I was in the market for. I took a chance and was disappointed. The product, on the other hand is the best sounding and most comfortable headphones I have ever tried. Beats is a brand that no one else can touch at the moment.

These headphones are great with a soft snug fit on my head and clear loud sounds perfect for music and gaming. Price is a little much but if you find them under 200 like I did then it's a must buy

Headphones are okay. The sound quality for highs and mids is good, but surprisingly the base is a little underwhelming. Part of that I think might be the noise cancellation. Note: Noise cancellation needs to be on in order to use the headphones. This means that despite they are wired headphones, they need to be charged when using them. This is my biggest complaint, but based off my research, the battery life is still better on the wired headphones than the wireless headphones. Overall I am happy with my purchase. But DO NOT think these headphones compete with premium brands such as Bowers and Wilkins. These are good midlevel headphones that compete (and beat) with Bose.

I researched headphones prior to purchasing these. Since, these are among the recommended 'over the ear' headphones on a reputable tech product review website, I decided to purchase them. Recently, I took a four hour flight - at the end of the flight the headphones were very comfortable and did not hurt my ears. Also, the noise canceling feature was very effective...I did not hear any of the normal airplane noises. I like these headphones, but like other reviewers have mentioned I would not purchase them at full price. I purchased mine on sale. In summary: these headphones are very good, the battery check button is extremely useful and love the pink color!!! :-)

I'm 41 years old. I listen to a wide range of music. I listen to music extremely loud. Groups like Pink Floyd-Pantera-OutKast(aquemini) sound amazing on these headphones. These headphones do not cut out at max volume. Once you slip these headphones over your head you will find them comfortable and outside noise is immediately reduced before you even start playing music. Once you start blasting "And Justice for All" by Metallica you will find these headphones are not just for hip-hop. Nirvana, Pear Jam, John Prine, The Doors, Neil Young, The Cure, N.W.A, and even Joni Mitchell sound crisp and clear at max volume. These headphones are durable with a great rechargeable battery that last nearly 20 hours per charge .

I got these because they were on sale for $150. I read many reviews about them and I had to try for myself and experience the hype of Beats headphones. Pro 1) Sound Quality. I'm no expert, but as an average user, it is great. Clean, bass is not overpowering. Pro 2) Comfort. The cushions are not as soft as the Bose, but very comfortable. It fits like a glove on my head. I can feel the weight of the headset, but is not unconfortable. Pro 3) Battery life is great. I used it for 10hrs and still had juice left. Some users have reported 15hrs of continuous use, the actual spec says 20hrs. Pro 4) This is more personal. I can't use Bose QC headphones. I get dizzy and nauseous with noise cancelling headphones, but not with this one. Con 1) Noise cancelling cannot be turned off. (Constant battery use if the wire is plugged). Some reviewers have complained about the background noise. When there is no sound playing or low volume, you can hear a noise in the background. I would compare it to having a seashell up again your ear. It doesn't bother me as I can hear it only when there is no music or video playing. Con 2) The way to turn this headphone On and Off is by connecting/disconnecting the wire. If you forget to unplug the wire after use, it will drain the battery. I would not pay full retail price for it. But on the other hand this is the only Noise Cancelling headphone that doesn't make me dizzy.

I have had these head phones since the first day the came out. I have also had the Executives and the original Studios made by Moster. These new Beats Studios are extremely comfortable and lightweight. The padding is similar to the Executives. Not quite as bass heavy as the original Studios. The highs and mids have been tuned better and they don't get drowned out by heavy bass like the original Studios. The one thing that I wish Beats would have improved on is the noise leakage (everybody can hear what I am listening to when I am playing these at high volumes). The Executives do not have this issue so I don't now why these headphones do. The noise cancelling is great. You don't hear that constant hum like you do with others. (I returned my Executives because of this constant hum at low volume levels. It was extremely annoying.) There is no on/off switch anymore. Once you plug the cord into the headphones, your headphones turn on. This helped prevent people from leaving their headphones on all the time and killing their battery. You just have to remember to unplug your headphones when you are through using them. I recommened these headphones to everybody.

I've bought Beats ear buds, on ear headphones, and now these. These are by far the most comfortable. The noise canceling is a great feature. It doesn't block all sound completely, but it cuts down most quite a bit. If someone comes in the room to talk to you, you can just press the beats logo on the side and the noise canceling stops...... or if your playing music it will pause until you release the button. Only feature I will get next time is the wireless. I would have got it this time, but I got an outstanding deal on these. Great product

As a professional photographer, I ordinarily will buy products based on professionals experience with products. I got to say, from the ones I talked to about these headphones, they're all wrong. These headphones may not have much in them but the sound is absolutely spectacular. I prefer these over Sennheiser or Bose. They are extremely comfortable and after hours of use there is not much fatigue. I like the fact that I can swap the cords out for phone use. The length of the cord is also great. I am considering buying the earbuds for running.
