Pro: - Great noise cancellation - barely heard the screaming baby 3 seats away on a recent 11 hour flight to India. - Battery Charge lasts a decent amount of time, and can be recharged on the go from an external battery pack through micro-USB - inline microphone works well Con - even though they fold, in the carrying case they take up quite a bit of space in my briefcase - with extended use, they are hot on the ears.

My teen-aged kids couldn't believe that I bought myself Beats -- and the rechargeable ones, at that. My son wanted to trade me for his last-year's model. I'm keeping them. They are great. Good sound and comfortable to wear. Only using in the house, though, not wearing them around my neck like the kids. Maybe next year...

I had the original Black Beats Studio and loved them. I had them for 3 years I think and they still work. They started to making a rattling sound when I would move my head to the beat of the music so those were not that durable. The new ones that I got in Blue which I love the color of are much more durable and have an even more sleek design and deliver even better sound than the original ones. The hum coming out of the headphones is much more distant and less distracting and allows me to become fully immersed in the music and keep out any unwanted sounds from the outside world. Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and everyone else involved in these headphones, YOU ARE GENIUSES and great businessmen. The world of music thanks you!

I went from the Lebron Beats, Mixr, Wireless, & not the 2013 Studios. Arguable the best BEATS out. Love the snug fix to my head, don't have a problem with long hours of play. The noise cancelation is better than ever. Although, they may be overpriced they give you bang for the buck. My main purpose for purchase is I hate to hear outside interference when listening to music through headphones. This is definitely the product to have to avoid that interference.

I haven't purchased headphones in many years! They have come a long way for sure. You get great sound, without surrounding noise, AND comfort - at least compared to my decades old headphones. Expensive though. I only wonder if Bose or Sony may have comparable quality phones without quite as high of a price. I bought these due to a recommendation by a friend.

These things are freaking awesome. At first I contemplated on buying them especially for the price. I decided after a while at looking at them and made the purchase. Let me tell you, these are freaking bad. They are freaking loud and the bass is awesome. I don't think I could ever go back to regular headphones. Hands down I would recommend them to a friend.

i love my dre beats pink limited edition over the head headphones. i love the color, and sound quality. i got a good deal on this open box product. everything was in good working condition. The headphones are comfortable on my ears while working out at the gym. I would give this product and best buy 5 stars. i recommend best buy and dre beats.

Went to pick them up today at my local Best Buy, I was skeptical about them because of what people were saying on the reviews like "lacking on bass compared to old studios". Personally I own and love the 1st generation studios the bass on them are amazing in my perspective. These new studios thoe, thump bass as well, but a better more refined bass, which sounds amazing. Not to mention vocals and percussions sound amazing as well. I produce music "electronic mainly" sounds great with Hip-Hop as well. Overall the point I'm trying to emphasize here is that these new beats are amazing and great for music production.

These headphones were a gift for my wife. She loves the pink color and the sound is awesome. They were on sale before Christmas for $199, and were definitely worth it. The wireless ones are nice, just not worth the price jump. She loves these and I use them sometimes too. Only negative is they need to be charged, but the battery lasts awhile.

Strong bass, premium sound quality, long battery life.

These actually sound great, and the cups ARE comfortable, though I've yet to use them for longer than an hour or so, so I can't speak for long term comfort. My only gripe is that you HAVE to have a charge in the battery to use these. I wish they made a version of these without the noise cancelling, I honestly don't notice it and would be fine without it.

Got these as a gift for my husband. He loves them. He wears them to listen to music while he works on the computer and they are comfortable enough to last until the paperwork is complete. I like them for music and movies. Voices and tones are clear. They keep conversations and distractions out due to good fit and good cushioning also.

Awesome Sound comfortable, cable not durable. I have had these for a couple of weeks and already the cable had to be replaced and I could not locate a cable with the mic control in the store, so it was straight up cable or no cable to use the headphones. Also since they are now owned by Apple, I could not purchase a warranty on them.

I absolutely love these Beats!! I primarily use them when I jog. They help keep me entertained with my favorite genre of music and focused on the task at hand!! They are very sturdy and comfortable to wear!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a pair of quality headphones. 5 stars!!!!!

Prior to this purchase I was a long time user of the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Unfortunately, after an old battery leaked in the headphones, mine no longer worked. When I saw that Beats had noise canceling headphones and that the price point was the same as the comparable Bose headphones, I decided to do a little side by side comparison. While both offer great noise reduction features, Beats have far superior sound reproduction - a big selling point for an audiophile like myself. The Beats by Dr. Dre headphones are comfortable, light and sound like someone put a concert hall between my ears.
