My sister and her husband got a BedJet a while back and they loved it so much, they got a second unit for dual-zone comfort. She was raving about it so I had to give this a run. Just out of the box, I'm impressed that BedJet's product engineers have thought of several variables when it comes to people's beds and preferences. The base unit is 5.75 inches tall. That's great because it easily fit under my bed with a finger width of room to spare. Corners are rounded so if the unit protrudes from under your bed, there isn't a concern it might catch your toes. Connections to the different pieces are truly tool-free. Things snap together and there are release tabs where needed if you need to adjust things. The air hose is a 3" diameter hose that connects easily to base unit and then can bend or extend to where you need it. There is an Adjustable Height Mattress Mount Assembly whose main arm gets placed under your mattress and has some memory foam material to keep it in place so there is no concern of kicking the unit out from under your mattress. It comes with four 1.5" vertical spacers and a holding ring that holds the air hose at the right height. Despite having a thick mattress, I only needed 2 of the vertical spacers to set the air hose at the right height for my use. There is also an Air-Nozzle included if you don't want to use the Cloud Sheet. While the holding ring's main purpose is to hold the hose up against the bed, it also has sheet clips to keep the cloud sheet connected to the hose. My wife and I prefer two different temperatures throughout the night. We previously solved that difference with two separate blanket sets on our king size bed. Neither of us like sleeping with a top sheet, but I was super curious what the BedJet Cloud Sheet Accessory was all about. We got the King Size Dual Zone Cloud Sheet and it's a double layer top sheet that is 100% pure cotton and I think I read somewhere it is 250 thread count. This is important to note and I'll get into this later. Depending on where your base unit sits, there are two snap buttoned openings for each zone. One at the bottom of the zone and one at the side of the zone (also near the bottom). The Dual Zone Cloud Sheet is sewn down the middle to ensure different temperatures don't mix. Then, each zone is lightly quilted for most of the body to keep airflow and the top several inches of the sheet are not part of the air chamber so air is not blowing in your face. This is part of the important note about the 250 thread count. While the thread count is enough to hold air in the chamber, the weave is just loose enough to let enough air through to permeate onto your body to make the experience cozy. With the Dual Zone Cloud Sheet, you can get a second base unit that connects to the second zone. It's important to note that in the setup of the base unit, the BedJet system specifically asks if you have a second base unit you'll be using. If you do, the BedJet system coordinates and adjusts the two units so that both systems do not draw too much power and overwhelm your electrical circuit. Since we prefer not to use a top sheet while sleeping, the alternative is to use the air nozzle and set it up to direct air just under the blanket. We're in Michigan and we had some very varied weather experience in the past week. We've had mid-70 degree days and some high 30s nights. I really only needed the BedJet to jump start the temperature of the bed for the first 10 minutes of getting into bed. Once I had that, I was sleeping quite peacefully. However, there is a Biorhythm mode that will cycle through a combination of heating and cooling modes automatically throughout the night to provide an ideal temperatures for the most comfortable sleep. For the most part, I've been running the BedJet at 40% power. I've found this to be the best balance of airflow and noise level. At this level, it's just white noise. Even with the BedJet being used to jump start the temperature of our bed for 10 minutes as we're getting into bed, it's provided us a very comfortable sleeping environment. We're falling asleep faster and we're feeling the effects of a deeper, more restful sleep and waking up feeling more refreshed than ever.

I heard about the BedJet awhile back and was intrigued. However I continued to use my fans to try and keep cool at night. In the winter season, I had an electric blanket to warm up the bed before I got in. As the blanket is getting older, I'm not really comfortable having hot wires over me as I sleep. I decided to give the BedJet a try to beat both problems. I really can't stand a fan blowing on me at night and the BedJet has solved that problem. I'm a warm sleeper and being able to turn on the system if I wake up hot is amazing. A couple minutes and the gentle air cools me right off. In the winter my bedroom is on the cooler side but I don't like to get into a cold bed. I turn on the BedJet about 10 minutes before I read to sleep and by bed is soo cozy when I get in. The fan is pretty quiet below 50% and above that acts like a soothing white noise machine. I have mine on the opposite side of the bed(queen) that I sleep and it's perfect. The app makes it easy to control and set timers. Having and adjustable temperature is great if you want a toastier bed or not. Setting up the app was a bit challenging to get onto wifi. I found a tip online to turn off the wifi on the phone and hook it up that way and it worked! Having the actual remote at night is a blessing. Physical buttons to feel and not being blinded by your phone in the middle of the night is a good thing. You can use the BedJet with out the cloud sheet but I wouldn't recommend it. The cloud sheet is designed to work with the BedJet and distributes the airflow much more evenly. And you don't feel the fan blowing right on you, just gentle cooling or heating. I'm loving my BedJet and it makes my bed feel soo luxurious!

The BedJet - Climate Comfort System works great when finally in place but it was a struggle to get there. First, it came well packaged though the box was heavier than expected. Boxed, I struggled with it but each individual part was easily handled. I loved that a manual came with it so there wasn't the need to go on-line and find one. While the manual is informative and illustrated fairly well, it thinks I'm a lot more intelligent than I am. For example, the instructions say to be sure the Cloud sheet opening is firmly anchored to the airhose but should be over the clamp which holds the hose in place which doesn't allow me to firmly anchor around the hose due to the extenders holding the clamp in place. While illustrated, it really doesn't show me how that works. So, I'm probably incorrect on how I set it up, but it's working and that's what matters. The remote easily paired with the device and is definitely designed by the "For Dummies" people as it was so easy to set up and so easy to use. While you can also use an app on your phone, since I still have a landline, I rarely have my mobile in my bedroom. It is so easy to grab the remote and make changes. My temp will spike out of the blue and I can now go from having a heated sheet to a cooling sheet in moments. There is a biorhythm feature where you can program in changes to automatically take place at certain times if you know your body temperature changes at certain times in your sleep cycle. Unfortunately for this review (fortunately for me though), I have not had one of my bad night sweat spells which is what drew me to this system in the first place, so I cannot say just how good the dry cycle is, but it worked fine for the small episodes I experienced which leaves me hopeful. A big plus for me is being able to set aside my bulky winter comforter and either just use the sheet by itself or add my lightweight summer comforter. While it was a struggle for me to get it set-up, now that it is, I'm loving the ease with which to deal with changing body temperatures while in bed.

Didn't Know I Needed It Until I Tried It

As a person who sleeps with several fans on during the night but buried beneath several comforters at the same time, I was intrigued by the thought that the BedJet3 Forced Air Climate Comfort System could possibly provide me with a better quality of sleep. Prior to attempting assembly I watched a YouTube tutorial of the BedJet3 setup. The user manual was also extremely helpful at answering any questions that I had and I definitely recommend reading it beforehand. I have a sleigh bed and I installed the hose and nozzle at the foot of the bed between the mattress and the footboard. I placed the base unit beneath the slats with the hose emerging between the last slat and the footboard. The nozzle must be level with the top of the mattress in order to direct the airflow into the sheet. Surprisingly this setup was a perfect fit and did not require me to use the included mattress mount. When deciding on placement you need to keep in mind that you need to be fairly close to an outlet to plug the unit in. The company sells a sheet made specifically for use with the BedJet called The Cloud Sheet. It has a double layer design, sort of like a duvet, that contains the air inside and keeps it from blowing directly on you. In comparison, when using your own sheets, the air blows the sheet up and you feel it directly on your skin. Use of the Cloud Sheet also limits the access points for the hose because there are designated openings at the bottom and sides where you insert the nozzle vs. access at any point around the bed when using your own sheet. Using the Cloud Sheet felt strange at first because I’m one of the people who don’t actually sleep with a top sheet. It usually ends up at the foot of the bed by morning. My preference is to have something warm and soft like a flannel sheet or soft comforter next to my skin. There’s also the fact that the sheet’s sort of floating on top of you and some people prefer the secure feeling of the pressure of bedding on them. Replacing my comforters over the Cloud Sheet remedied this for me. The BedJet does not make its own air supply. It pulls room temperature air from floor level and circulates it through the base helping to lower your body temperature by pushing away your trapped body heat and humidity. It changes the temperature of your bed, not the room. The BedJet3 will work right out of the box and does not require the installation of the recommended app. You can use the included remote after adding batteries and pairing it to the base (explained in the manual and on the video I watched). I don’t think that every device needs an app. When I’m sleepy the last thing I want to do is hunt down my phone to adjust the settings when I can simply pick up the remote. There’s also the issue if your Wi-Fi happens to be down then you have to hunt up the remote anyway so I passed on installing the app on my phone. It’s been a week and I’m impressed by the extended periods of undisturbed sleep that I’ve been getting since the first time I used it. I tend to sleep fitfully and often awaken with bedding tossed off of me or body parts sticking out from under the covers. The cooling setting of 69 degrees and variable fan speeds are working great for me. It hasn’t actually been warm enough for me to try out the sweat drying function but there would definitely be use for it in the warmer months. My favorite setting has been the heating mode with turbo heat to warm the bed up first. This feels fabulous right after a shower. While it runs the machine does produce white noise. I’m used to sleeping with fans so it was neither loud nor distracting to me. It provided the perfect background noise to lull me to sleep but I could see it taking some getting used to if you prefer to sleep in silence. BedJet also offers a Dual Zone Climate Comfort Sleep System for couples who don’t necessarily care to sleep under the same conditions. It comes with two base units, two remotes, and one sheet. It allows couples to independently control the temperature on their side of the bed. For most this purchase is a small investment. After using it a few times you will definitely know whether the BedJet3 functions for you as the sleep aid it is meant to be or not. The company offers a two-year limited warranty and 60 day free returns. No additional purchases are required to maintain the machine-just the washing of the lifetime air intake filter every 3 months. I think the concept is great and the product delivers as promised. I will definitely appreciate it a lot more when the snow hits the ground.

The BedJet - Climate Comfort System is amazing. I am thrilled to have used this product on my bed. I'm a very hot-natured person, and to say that this product has made falling asleep in a nice cool bed is the understatement of the year. Not only does it make falling asleep and staying asleep easier, but now that Jack Frost wanted to rear his ugly head this week, I can wake up in the middle of the night when I'm freezing and feel as though I'm frozen to the bed, and turn the thing on to heat, and I'm as toasty as can be. I feel so good, that getting out of bed becomes a hassle, because who on Earth wants to get out of a nice warm cozy bed and step on a cold floor? Not me that's for sure. How easy is this thing to use? Super easy, it comes with everything you need to set up, the instructions are easy to follow, you hook up the hose to the machine, run the hose along the footboard (If you have one), and then attach the pieces as shown in the manual. Then make sure the sheet is clamped onto the hose connection as shown, and plug it into the wall. Then put the batteries into the remote, and try it out. Then set it up on your phone which is also fairly easy to do, again just follow the instructions. All together set up took about 10 minutes from the time I unboxed it and the time I was using it on the bed.

BedJet has saved our marriage; my wife says thanks

As for most couples, one person is always hot and the other person is always cold. Well, my wife is the “always hot” person in our marriage. So, given an opportunity to try the BedJet Climate Comfort System, I figured we had nothing to lose. Not only is my wife always cold, but she gets hot at night under the sheets and on occasion would get sweaty during the night. Putting the system together was easier than I was expecting while looking at the separate pieces. I asked my wife if she was willing to test the system as she’s the one who has more bad nights sleeping than I do and she agreed. The first night using the BedJet, I placed the system on cool and at 79 degrees with the belief that anything about 80 degrees would make my wife too hot. Well, I guessed wrong. My wife woke up around 230am saying she was cold. 79 degrees was the highest cool setting, so switched the system heat but at the lowest possible and will figure out the right settings the next night. The next night, I set the system to dry. However, the Bedjet can detect the room temperature and will only allow you to set the low temperature to a certain setting. So, I set the dry setting to 82 degrees. My wife said that was much better. Unfortunately, she got hot late in the morning. Let’s try again the next night. Night 3: I made the room cooler prior to bed, so I could set the dry setting to 81 degrees. I honestly didn’t think 1 degree would make a difference. I was happy to be wrong. My wife said she slept well the entire night and it’s been a while since my wife has slept well the entire night. So, through trial and error, we have found that 80 degrees and 81 degrees on the dry setting is the sweet spot for my wife. The next two nights have pretty much been us confirming the settings that we like. One of our favorite features/settings on the BedJet is the Turbo Heat which warms up the sheet and the bed prior to getting in the bed. My wife likes that it feels toasty when she jumps into bed. The BedJet settings are Cool, Heat, Extended Heat, Turbo Heat and Dry. You can set up the Bedjet with the remote that comes with the system, or download the app to your phone. Programming the system is easy on both the remote and the app and they both talk to each other. There is even a Biorhythm setting where you can program the system to run certain settings and timelength based of the information you input, or you can manually adjust to your own preferences. You can also adjust the fan setting so it’s not too loud. My wife is a light sleeper, so it’s kept no higher than 30% but that’s more than enough. After 2-3 nights, we lowered the fan setting to 20% and there is no difference in how it feels. After using the BedJet system for almost a full week and my wife is sleeping better, I can say this has been a difference. The price for the BedJet is at a price I normally would not purchase, but it is worth the price considering the sleep.

    Upgrade your sleep!!

Context: I'm a long time believer in what can sound like a standard mattress salesman line: "You spend a third of your life in bed, invest accordingly!" For 20+ years now, I've slept on an adjustable mattress (& now foundation) to maximize my sleep effectiveness. When I last upgraded my mattress, a temperature control feature was available, but it was a pretty pricey upgrade over & above what I was already spending (I will invest, but do have my limits 🤣). Enter the BedJet - Climate Comfort Sleep System. It's an aftermarket upgrade that uses airflow to heat/cool your bed. The set up was really easy & the instruction manual was incredible- it was clearly written in non-technical and addressed specific questions in a way that makes you believe the manufacturer truly wants you to use and benefit from the product. The remote and general operations are simple enough. The results- Prior to using the BedJet - Climate Comfort Sleep System, I frequently woke up at least once each night with sweat-soaked sheets... not anymore. I've been able to experiment with various fan and temperature settings for the perfect combination (that can be saved via the remote) that keeps me from overheating. Love this product!! Note: There is a fan (& fan noise) involved in the BedJet - Climate Comfort Sleep System. This is NOT a downside for me, because I've slept with a fan or white noise maker for years now, but if you prefer absolute silence just be aware. The fan speed is also quite variable, so if the noise and/or airflow is a concern, give it a try anyway to see if you can find a setting.
