Great idea. I don't know how much faster it charges - I know there's some increase over the older cheapos I have around the house, but I don't really pay much attention. It works well and has been holding up for the 6 or so months I've had it. Plus I needed another USB-C cable. What's not to like?

The down side is that some phones doesn't fully recognize the adapter and says how long it will take to charge.
