Oh, no, another type of connector!

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm giving this thing a 5-star rating because it does what it says it will do and what it is supposed to do, allow me to charge my JBL Bluetooth mini-speaker that I use to make connecting to Spotify and Pulsar produce acceptable audio from my phone. My issue isn't with the product at all. So if all you're interested in is how the Belkin BOOST CHARGE works, you can quit reading now. It works. But I'm going to go on and rant about something that has nothing to do with the product at all. I want to know why there are a gazillion different USB connectors for a gazillion different USB devices. There are micros. There are minis. There are type Cs. There are full sized connectors. Why can't the industry settle on a standard? I have too many USB cables in my junk drawer. I'd love to throw most of them out. But with the number of different devices I have, I need them all. Sheesh!
