USB port isn’t working and aux was next option and works perfect for the car and cord isn’t so lon that it gets in the way

I've purchased cheap versions of accessories to use with Apple products and inevitably you "end up getting what you pay for". Connections not being good, poor sound quality or cables just coming apart. However, the numerous Belkin accessories from wall outlets to cables I've used have consistently been quality products. Again, my experience with this cable is no different. The material and connectors all feel and appear to be good quality and meet the MFi certification. Option of 3' or 6' cable is nice to have. We are using this to play music in a car that does not have Bluetooth capability. The cable length is sufficient for car use without being annoyingly long; and the sound quality is good. Two points worth noting is that the phone will not be charging via the 3.5mm audio connection so for extended car trips this may become an issue. Also, alternative products with a cable that has a 3.5mm connector on each end coupled with an Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter will allow any android phone passengers to connect their phones also by simply removing the lightning adapter. In summary, it's good Belkin quality and does the job of allowing one to play their Apple audio via a 3.5mm aux connection in one's car or with a suitable home receiver or other devices that have a 3.5mm port.

It does exactly what I wanted it for. I really like this product.
