This charger does exactly what it's designed to do, charge your Apple Watch (all sizes). It's not designed to charge any other device, so don't expect a USB plug for this purpose. This makes it a bit more compact than previous watch battery chargers on the market. What you do get, is the battery pack and a micro USB cord for charging (it's really short). My unit arrived with a 75% charge already on the device, so I went ahead and charged it, using the supplied USB cable and a spare iPhone wall plug in adapter. It was fully charged within an hour! Charging your watch is simple. Simply tap the battery charger indicator button to see the available charge, then just take your watch off and place it on the magnetic base. If you have a Loop style watch band, you'll need to loop it through the charger to allow it to charge your watch; for all others, you just place it on the charger. It charges almost as fast, if not as fast, as a wall plug in, and I was able to use it up to 5 times with moderate watch use before needing to charge it again. For this test my watch was about 40 to 60% battery life left when placed on charger, or about standard discharge for any work day throughout the week. Charging the battery pack only took about 2 hours for full charge, making this easy to charge while traveling using a PC or plugging in while staying overnight somewhere. Just make sure to have a spare wall plug if you're going to charge it overnight. The compact design of this, makes is easy to carry with you in a spare pocket or your travel bag. I'm really impressed with the premium feel of this battery pack, and I now have a way to charge my watch on the go without carrying the USB charging cable that came with the watch. I'd recommend this for any watch user who's looking for a portable charger for just their watch.
