It easily charges through a case, such as Otterbox, without difficulties. The base itself has a good weight so that it doesn't slide around on you. The included charging cable is of a nice length to easily reach from the included plugged in adapter to the surface for the base. The LED indicater briefly lights up when initially plugged in, then turns off when not charging. According to the adapter, the base is capable of charging using three different outputs.

It charges quicker than most other wireless chargers I had considered buying. It's very convenient to have on a side table and easily charges my phone and ear buds. Note: Some people wrote that you have to place the phone "just right" on the charger. I didn't find that to be the case; as long as you sit it down directly on it (not hanging over the side), it starts charging right away.

Charging is not fast but sufficient for overnight charging. Pad gets hotter than I am comfortable with, so I ensure it is on a hard, durable surface.

Thankfully, it had wireless charging capabilities, and I got the Belkin wireless charger to charge the phone and save myself the trouble of getting a repair done for the charging jack. I found it not only a life saver, but much more convenient than wired charging. My only regret with this wireless charger is that I didn't buy it sooner.
