Its nothing you want to carry, takes a lot of room and holds the first gen pencil better than the second generation. The second gen which I needs constantly moves and I feel it would get broken carrying it this way daily and I don't need more stuff to clutter the desk. Great idea, just needs a bit of rethinking and resizing for most users to carry and have around

Didn't realize how awesome this was untill..

This one has a special slide that you can store all the pen pieces in. The box itself is very sturdy. It's worth it.

It not only protects my Apple pencil but holds the charging adapter & a replacement tip (which comes with it). And when I have the pencil out and not actively using it, the stand provides a safe place to store it, ready for use. No need to fumble around looking for my pencil & it doesn't roll away and get broken. Every bit worth the extra money!
