It works great and is a very well made quality piece. I purchased one that was very cheap and came from China but my phone would not recognise it and it would not work. But the purchased one from Best Buy works good and I had no problem with my phone recognizing that it was plugged in.

There are a lot of very cheap alternatives, but I have had too many friend’s break quickly/etc. This one is made nicely and I have had it for a year. Would recommend. The only issue I can think of is that I wish the little cord going to it was smaller because i’m always afraid of bending it. You just have to be careful.

It gets to the point where if its moved/bumped while in the phone holder it will disconnect and I have to unplug and re-plug it back in. Wish the cost was cheaper.
