Exactly What I needed for my phone to be able to charge at the same time as plugging it into my speaker to listen to music. Money well spent.

I travel alot and either have my GPS or pandora on (sometimes both) during my drives, my vehicle has an auxiliary port making it easier to hear but not being able to charge my iPhone 7+ at the same time, was really complicated but this saved my frustration! The only down fall and the only reason its not 5 star in my opinion, is if the GPS isn't talking or if the song stopped, at the same time of charging, it makes a pretty annoying whistle through the speakers until you either unplug the charger or have background noise playing.

This is a high quality accessory that allows you to simultaneously use 1 lightning port on your iPhone 7 and split it into audio (listen and talk with headphones) and charge at the same time. As you should know and as Belkin clearly states, it is not an audio splitter (you cannot have 2 people listen with the device on separate wired headphones). Your alternative would be to have a wireless headphone with mic jack and use the lightning port to recharge. For those in need, this works well, is reliable, and reasonably portable. It will not fit in a standard small headphone carrying case.

Instead of spending $70 on Apple’s Lightning Dock, another Lightning to USB cable (as this is a pretty stationary setup), and another iPhone charger just to be able to listen with headphones and charge the phone at the same time, spend half the amount for this incredibly portable solution. I believe there is even a revised version with only one Lightning port for your cable and charger and a standard 1/8” mini headphone jack, eliminating the need to carry the Lightning to headphone jack dongle that came with your phone. This adapter is absolutely the way to go.

I use it to connect the mini plug of a vr headset to my iPhone. It also allows me to plug in the charger if the iPhone battery dies while I am playing.

My husband loves that he can use his phone in his truck now to listen to Spotify and charge his phone at the same time. This adapter lets him do both!

If your car does not have a USB plug in this device is perfect for listening to music through aux and charging your phone at the same time. Works great.

Why does apple keep having to come up with new stuff that isn't compatible with my car. I have a 2010 car and it has seperate audio and charging connection so when I upgraded to the iphone7 I could no longer charge my phone and play music at the same time. Hence the purchase of this item. This is the best on that the people at the Apple Store said go get. Sometimes it looses connection and I lose audio, but the charging side always works. I blame the stupid new connector for the AUX that you have to connect to the new lighting cable.

Easy plug and go so I can charge my phone and use my corded headphones or my iRig to record better quality videos.

Allows user to plug in headphones and charge together. Had for a short while, but still working great. Great for road trips!

If you have a iPhone e 7 series or upcoming 8 series as well as the X and want to charge your phone as well as listen to music. THIS IS A MUST HAVE.

Thanks to Apple had to shell out extra money to plug in charger and aux cable at the same time. A little pricy but it works great.

I bought this to use my midi capable music instruments with my iPad and iPhone and it’s been fantastic. Even with the usb-c connection on the end iPhone cables that plug into a computer, it’s not always that easy and this little converter is priceless

Belkin makes an excellent product so that you can charge and connect to the audio. Works great, no issues
