I’m not a fan of that arrangement, but that’s Apple’s problem, not Belkin’s. $40 is a lot to pay for a dongle like this, but the cheap ones you find on amazon simply aren’t reliable or durable. I’ve never had problems with Belkin anything, so $40–while steep—seems reasonable for what you actually get.

This was recommended to me by the Best Buy representative. I love it! It's perfect to listen to music while charging your phone. I have one in my car and one that stays by my charger. I've had it going on 3 months now and I haven't had any problems with it. It's a little pricey but totally worth it!
