This thing is great, the only reason its not getting 5 stars is it doesn't always plug all the way into my Samsung note 20 ultra, but it charges and let's me listen to music on headphones/or my trucks aux cable at the same time.

I would not recommend this product. At first it was great despite you have to connect the power cord for it to work was good if running low on battery. If you don’t have access to a power outlet you can NOT use it. I’ve had this product about 6 months and it decided to quit working all I here is static through my headphones. I’ve tried multiple times calling the store to ask about an exchange or manufacture warranty. It is irritating when NOBODY EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! I have taken very good care of it only using a few times and the plastic is still on it. You think at this price it would last a long time. Very Disappointed!

Works great with my note 10+ . Charges fast and stays charged and won't affect the sound quality also depends what cable you have to connect with this to your phone .

I can finally charge my phone and listen to music it's a Christmas miracle... If only there was a way to have the audio jack built into the phone so I don't have to hunt down crap like this or phones would come with these so we don't have to buy one. The biggest problem with this setup is it creates a subtle electric feedback that messes with the audio but all in all it works really well.

Great product! I've read the reviews on similar products that did not work, but this one does. I bought this for my wife and she uses it all the time! I don't care for the look of adapter. I think it's bulky but useful

I am able to listen to my music and charge my mobile device. However I have to disconnect to talk on the phone or get my assistant to hear me in my vehicle. I was really hope for more hands free. I guess I'll have to upgrade my stereo in my 2011 Silverado for a true hands free setup.

Having this been the end of the era for the auxilary jack to phones, I needed my music fix. And since the rental's radio did not have any option for bluetooth, I needed to find something quick. Luckily enough, I encountered this adapter and to my amazement, it also charges. But like the title of my review it is a bit bulky and slighty expensive. But I needed to listen to good music because driving 2 thousand miles finding music that I didn't like didn't cut it.

A device like this very much needed with the setup of new Samsung phones. Without it, theres no listening with headphone (3.5mm). The other version is required if you want to listen with the provided USB C headphones, while also charging the phone. This device is touchy. Bought it and during first use it would connect/reconnect every couple of seconds. Took that one back and got a replacemt. This one works, but is sensitive, a little touch on the plug and it will disconnect. Works fine if you dont need to move the phone at all, for example if watching a movie.

Hi, CARSONCITY22,
Make sure that the phone is properly secured to the adapter for a stable connection. You can try to use the adapter with a different USB-C compatible phone or tablet to see if the same issue happens.
Let us know the result at [email protected] with your contact details and the link to this review for our reference and, we provide further assistance.

This adapter is hard to find. It's necessary if you wish to charge a USB-C device and listen to headphones at the same time. For example: watching a movie on a new Apple iPod PRO and listening with older headphones.
There's other adapters on the market, but Belkin are far superior.

My wife her phone doesn't have a audio jack unlike mine. This makes it easy for her to both connect her phone for audio and for power whenever she's driving her car. Works perfectly.

Bought it originally to attach an external mic to my GoPro Black7, as someone in the reviews section mentioned that it worked for them.
Couldn't get it to work, so ended up returning it.
Build quality was great. Didn't test it out on any other devices, so can't comment on that.

I picked this up to drive across the US, needing an audio jack and charger as phones lack both nowadays.
It looks really professional and sleek, like most Belkin products that I actually enjoy. Upon my first use with it in the store parking lot I wanted to return it, however I personally have not seen another USB-C adapter so I used it for a 37hr car ride.
The first plug in it showed charging but would not play audio. After maybe 15 minutes of looking at the manual to see if something needed to be done and finagling it, I got audio. It sounded like a distant radio station fading out with poor quality of sound, much static, and poor connection.
During the road trip I mainly relied on an adapter for 3.5mm Audio alone. When the phone was dead I would have to stop at a rest area and try to make this adapter function. Rarely could I just plug it in and have audio and power.
At the end of the trip, I had used this two times, the plan was use it the entire trip. Very unsatisfied and really hope this is just a defective product I alone received.
Pros - sometimes you get audio and power.
Cons - Audio was terrible, could not reliabley plug in and play, Cable was not secure in phone due to shortness of cable and large converter.

Very happy I got this over normal adapters, as allows to chsrgr phone and use headphones at same time, as well as convert mics for the phone so it works eith the USB C. Highly recommended, could be a bit smaller but still great.

I have purchased this Belkin adapter for both iPhone and Android phones. I bought the iPhone version for a friend as a present, and the android one for me because my friend loved his. We both used this adapter in a work van with AUX input via stereo cable.
The iPhone was a 5 star for not having the problems that the android adapter had.
First was volume, I had to turn up volume on van radio to the max to barely hear anything, so static was always heard. iPhone version worked perfectly.
Second, hands free calling never worked. Was supposed to work like speakerphone, used vehicle audio system as speaker, and phone microphone as microphone. iPhone worked perfectly here also.
2 stars instead of one because at least it did something. It charged while I could listen to music on phone. Form factor nice and small.
I returned and will try different brand.

I didn't know that such a product existed. When I was buying my 20 ultra, I asked if it had a jack. He said no, but there is a device that you can use that both charges and has a jack allowing for a headset. It works great! I keep it next to my bed... charging at night and listening to things without having to drain my Bluetooth headset that I use in the daytime, while I listen to things at night. I live it. I would buy it again. I hope it remains available!
