I understand this is because of a wiring issue mostly in older cars, but it is maybe more pronounced on this adapter than some others I've used.

I do not have any issues with volume drop or static. Charging works as it should. I tried a different brand and was not able to get charging and audio to work together. Highly recommend this!

I use it on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra when I do Zoom calls. I like to charge my phone and use a wired headset at the same time. This device is perfect.

This one works great with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I can simultaneously listen to music and it also charges my phone if I choose.

So i had to buy this.. Does it work ? Sure ! Only gripe i have is the cord is kinda long and looks weird when its standing up. I wished it was shorter.

So i would have to stop my music and let it charge before playing music again.

Than just today, it stops working completely. I tested it over and over again hoping it was just a bad connection. Nope, the thing just stopped working. I don't know if it's a over work problem, or whatever the case may be, but I will be requesting a replacement at least. This is something I need for my business. I hope it's only an isolated problem and not a manufacturing defect that affects them all. I hope to find out.

As others have stated, it does work but I cant answer phone calls and when listening to music, the volume adjusts and I have to turn it up louder, for some reason it doesnt sound as loud with this device. The price is not worth it.
