I use Apple tag for a lot of things like car, luggage, purse, keys, wallet. Sometimes I don’t get the current location. However, it still shows the last known location. Overall, this is perfect for me since I tent to forget my keys a lot.

It’s not hard to move to another bag with the small allen key. It’s not fool-proof but I like to think it would help to retreive items quickly if they are stolen.
