Surprised to see such an amazing performance at such a low price, easy setup and use

Sound quality was pretty decent for the smaller size of this unit, however, it didn’t charge my iPhone in the Otterbox case as I’d hoped. Returned it for the similar sized Amazon Echo and all is great.

This is great if you use your phone as an alarm clock and the phone supports wireless charging.

It’s a good speaker. Like the wireless charger. I do not like that it does not play apple music. Also, Alexa does not respond as well as other Alexa’s I have.

Would have given it five stars if only the font for the captive buttons was a brighter color or backlit. But other than that it's a good unit.

The build feels high quality. They advertise this has plenty of bass. That is true, but high frequencies are non-existent. I couldn't access tone controls. I tried Alexa tone controls, but they didn't work either. I returned it. Turns-out I can get a genuine Echo (with much better sound) for about the same price (on sale).

First impression with the sound: Holy crap! I am really impressed by the output of such a small speaker. At first I thought I was listening to music on my Sonos system, and had to double check. Robust lows, crisp highs. At this point, the Qi charge pad and smart speaker integration are plus factors to this great speaker. Setup is easy: Speaker. Power cord. That’s it. Plug it in, download the Belkin SoundForm app, and set it up via WiFi/bluetooth. It took all but five minutes to set it up, and it updates in the background. There are five touch-sensitive buttons for basic controls, or you can ask Alexa to do it. The charge pad is somewhat inconspicuous but it does charge my iPhone, while in my otter box case, and it has a small light off to the side to indicate charge/ charge status. Luckily it’s not bright as this sits by my bed. Calling up Alexa on it is easy and the mics will pick up your voice even outside of the room (The acoustics of my home are weird so it could just be me) but even with the volume up a few notches, Alexa can hear and soft-mute the music to receive commands. I haven’t heard of Devialet before, but after using this product I will have to look out for their audio products. If anything, you want a nice spot to charge your phone and have good audio in your bedroom or office, the price is well worth it for this speaker.

Wireless charger will NOT work if you have ANY case on your phone, just fyi. Sound is great but if you want to use the wireless charging feature and have a case on your phone you're out of luck. Many wireless chargers work with cases but this one does not.

If you are like us, and have an Alexa device in every room, and use all of the echo functions, and it's become part of your daily life, this is not the device for you. I was highly disappointed. You can't connect it to an echo clock, you can't drop in, you can't do an announcement.....it's pretty much a speaker, and a charger, and can do about half the Alexa functions. It also "beeps" when it doesn't need to. My regular Alexa devices simply light up to acknowledge it recognized it's name, and this one beeps, then beeps again, and it makes me feel like it's "not ready" for me to talk. It also beeps multiple times at the end to like it's not done, or looking for you to do something. It doesn't hear me half the time. It is not a hub. My advice is let Amazon design something like this before you buy it, and in the meantime, just buy a nice speaker and a separate charger. I love Belkin, but this is a dud!

Obviously this speaker is purpose built. It seems perfectly developed to sit on your desk or nightstand so you can drop your phone on it to charge and use voice controls to play whatever your heart desires. The addition of Alexa just makes it that much better as it becomes a substitute for an Echo that would have been there too. From that perspective, it's an amped up Echo with the additional benefit of wireless charging making it the ultimate package. Alexa integration is spot on and it showed up in my Alexa devices as soon as I got it setup. It's ability to hear the word Alexa despite playing at full volume is a little uncanny, but welcome as you definitely will want to turn this speaker up a bit to get the full effect of its bass design. Overall, the speaker output is great for its size. Bass response is full albeit a little lacking on the lower end (which is generally the case with any smaller speaker.) The Devialet thumbprint on the sound is felt as you really do get a good feel for the bass. Volume control is a little wonky as the jump from about 75% to the next level is fairly large. I didn't feel like there was a nice medium volume but honestly you'll either be listening to this softly for general announcements or much louder for music purposes. Bluetooth range seemed to be a little shorter than my other speakers but that's always subject to interference so could have been something else. Wireless charging worked fine and has a little white light on the tilted surface to let you know when it's engaged. Overall a nice upgrade to my Echo that's earned its spot at my bedside.

Great little portable speaker for the house or maybe at a little cookout to which I had today. The built-in Alexa makes it so easy and convenient as well. If you have a Amazon profile, Alexa automatically connects to that and I was able to easily play my Amazon music. Also if you have Apple Music, this speaker will play but only by Bluetooth connection and not Alexa. The sound range surprised me if anything and it is very clear. It also has a subwoofer sound with the bass, not deep but enough to feel it and it doesn’t sound distorted. Instructions are simple and experiencing the wireless charger is a treat. I was never into the wireless charging but I can understand the hype. You will not be disappointed with this speaker.
