This smart speaker and wireless charger is a high-quality and convenient product. I was interested in the wireless charging feature, though the speaker of course is the key feature. I’ve used the device for close to a week and so far, I’m very satisfied. This was my first experience with a ‘smart’ home device, so I was nervous it might be complicated to set up and use. But I imagine this is probably not an issue for others purchasing this type of product, who likely have more experience with smart devices! In fact, I was pleasantly surprised that it was so easy to set up and start using the device, including downloading the app and connecting. Admittedly I’m not an expert in audio equipment, but I can say that I’m impressed with the quality of the speaker. I’ve experienced excellent sound quality using the device in my apartment, the rooms of which are not huge but have very high ceilings. I’m using the speaker in a small room used as a home office. This item is attractive enough to use in any setting, it’s not super small but will blend in. I received this item for review, though if given a choice I’d probably purchase the product in black. The wireless charger seems to work well – though I don’t really have a point of comparison, never having used a wireless charger before. And my Android mobile phone is now quite old (as technology updates so rapidly!) so possibly this wireless option would be ideal for use with more up-to-date smart phones. Overall, I would highly recommend this product, depending on one’s needs, for the high-quality sound, charging capability, and ease of use.

I was looking to replace an earlier generation, Amazon Echo with this Belkin SoundForm Elite Smart Speaker. We use our other Amazon devices less and less these days but the kitchen device is used regularly for music and updating the grocery list on the fly. I was dissatisfied with the music playback of the Echo and was hopeful when I saw this device, that it would have great sound and charge our phones, as an added bonus. The SoundForm Elite has a fairly large footprint, compared to the older Echo but still tucked away nicely on one of our kitchen work surfaces. It was very easy to get it set up, both on its own app and in my Amazon account and I appreciated only having to do it once, very quickly without any stumbles. The unit immediately updated its firmware once it was on our wireless network. The Alexa function works very well – it actually seems faster to respond and execute than our older Echo. Perhaps it has a better processor but whatever the difference, it is noticeable and we appreciated it. It also seemed easy to find when we cast music to it from Spotify – the older Echo would often go missing in action and we had to do some account workarounds to find it. The SoundForm Elite has no such problems. The charging feature is very good also. I have other wireless chargers that mostly work but this one seems to be no-nonsense and reliable. It was nice to be able to drop my phone on the surface and see a visual cue (LED) that shows charging is occurring after the phone’s screen has gone dark. It seems to be fairly quick to charge up and it is very convenient to just drop the phone in the dedicated cradle area, rather than hunt for a cable and power outlet, which I did previously in the kitchen. Then there is the sound. You would think this would be the most important factor for an Elite Hi-Fi Smart Speaker but I was a little disappointed, if I am honest. It certainly handles the bass better than the previous echo but I felt the mid-range and highs were muddied and did not always sound the way I expected, on tracks I know well. My wife independently commented the same – she uses the speaker functionality in the kitchen a little more than me and often listens to podcasts and lighter music. She thought the voices were a bit dull and flat which I could agree with from listening to my music. Supposedly, the speaker does its own EQ on the fly, using engineering from Devialet called Speaker Active Matching. Perhaps on a larger setup, with a dedicated amplifier, this works great but I am not really a fan on this smaller speaker. I tried to adjust my audio settings in the Alexa app but unlike the Amazon devices, it did not seem to make any difference. You can’t over ride SAM so I guess there was no point having the Amazon app let you change anything. For certain types of music, it does sound good but as a general, all-around kitchen music player, I think the sound is a little off and not attractive to my ears. I hope I get used to it but really, I would have expected this new device to sound amazing and I just don’t have that feeling yet. The bass response is definitely good but I still want to be able to enjoy the vocals and mid-range frequencies and they seem to go quiet or flat from what I have tried on it so far. To some ears and tastes, it might sound excellent but without being able to tweak it to what I consider pleasing sound, I feel a little trapped by a supposedly better audio algorithm that controls how my music sounds. Anyway, for as disappointed as I was with the audio performance, the charging and Alexa features are spot on and do work very well. Perhaps a later firmware update can fix some of the audio complaints I had and I will keep my fingers crossed.

When I first opened this I thought it was well packaged and the speaker looks very nice. The wireless charging works as I would expect from Belkin as I have there charging pad already and like it. This speak however if you are an iphone user it doesn't use apple's airplay so you have to download Google Home app or chromecast. Once you get those downloaded and connected the speaker operates as any other Alexa speaker. The sound is great so I will overlook the different apps I had to use. This speaker is for someone sitting at a desk or bedroom. If you are looking for good sound to play like a A/V system this isn't going to peak your interest.

I received a free Belkin Elite 3416 Speaker to review and I love it! It was so simple to set-up. All you have to do is download the app and follow the instructions. Took about 5 minutes is all. This is my first device with Alexa, and it's super cool! Also the sound quality is amazing! Especially for how small and compact it is. I can set it on my desk or nightstand without it taking up much room at all. I really like the wireless charging feature! It's so convenient to be able to just set my phone on the front and have it start charging. I also have some wireless Bose earphones that I tried charging on it too, but unfortunately it didn't work. I would highly recommend this awesome speaker to anyone in the market!

PROS: - Great sound quality! - Able to connect without fully setting up if needed - Wireless charging - Smart features CONS: - Separate app - Not rechargeable (must be plugged in) - Buttons aren't backlit It is a great speaker! If you have a newer phone, it's nice that you're able to charge your phone. However, for the price, I dislike some of the features. It seems like for the price, the buttons should be backlit and it should have an internal battery. If you wanted to create a surround sound experience or use it in dim lights, those features are necessary. I really dislike having to download a separate app especially since the app is basic useless. You'll use it to keep the speaker updated from what I can tell. I wasn't able to find the speaker through my Alexa app. I think if the speaker is supposed to function as the Belkin Alexa, they should have simply utilized the Alexa app. I liked the packaging. The instructions were easy to read and understand.

Would stop charging my phone after couple seconds. After a few months it never turned back on. I’m guessing the charger stop working. Hopefully I could return it back and get a refund.

The SoundForm Elite HiFi Smart Speaker and Wireless Charger, man that is a mouthful! I have some mixed feelings about this device. Much more good than bad, so let me start with the bad to get that out of the way. The worst has nothing to do with the actual product. My device came with no paperwork at all. The online help to get me a setup guide was ok. Once I got the guide it basically was install this app. The app is ok, some parts worked well….others took a few tries to take. Also my phone will not change with this device with the case that I have, so as a charger it is pretty much worthless to me as I would rather just leave my case on and use a traditional charger. Now on to the more fun stuff! This was my first experience with any sort of voice command system like Alexa. It seems to work as I would expect. I have been enjoying some of the simple pleasures such as asking for a timer or to play a certain song. Not sure how much Ill use this feature (somewhere between some and a lot lol) going forward, but I do like it and see many areas where I think it can help make life a little more fun or organized. Ok, how is it as a speaker? Well, pretty dang good. For a little, single speaker it can make some impressive sounds. I’ve been listening to some of my favorite music all day. The bass response is impressive given its size limitations. It may not compare to my main sound system, but it still is really impressive. That being said, both my girlfriend and father who are not audiophiles at all think it sounds fantastic. All in all I really like this device. The sound is fantastic for a single small speaker. Alexa is a fun new addition to my life. A little disappointed that my phone wont charge with my phone cover on but really a minor thing. If that worked and it had actually come with a good guide I would of given it 5 stars. I would recommend this to a friend.

I love the sound of this Belkin Speaker it’s very warm sounding and has great bass response. I was very surprised with how well it sounds for it’s size. The Alexa integration works really well and having several echo dots in my house it was easy to add this to the network and having music playing all throughout the house. My only issue is the speaker starts to have some distortion at higher volume levels. I never had to use it at high volumes but testing it out to see how loud it goes I did start to hear it. The wireless charging works very well and is useful since you can get set your phone on there and then use voice control to play your music. Overall I very much enjoyed the speaker and think it works great.

I was looking for a small, well-built speaker to replace the digital alarm clock that I was gifted by a family member a few years ago. My night stand was cluttered with so much junk, that I couldn't manage it. I got the Belkin SoundForm Elite. What a find. In short, the sound provided by this compact speaker is astounding. I enjoy hearing music, talk radio and podcasts from my night stand. The low levels frequencies are astounding for such a tiny footprint. I remain blown away. However, the sound balance quickly deteriorates when the sound volume reaches its upper limits. Bass output overpowers the mid-and high-frequencies, and makes a great-sounding speaker become a bit muddled. (This speaker puts out a phenomenal amount of lower frequencies--perhaps too much of it for my liking). Knowing that, however, I keep my listening levels to more private uses. Its unbeatable for personal listening. What makes this bluetooth speaker even more a gem is the recharging capability if offers to Qi devices. Brilliant idea, Belkin. The notion of offering a charging area for a smart phone is long overdue, and allows me to use my speaker to listen to music streaming from my phone without EVER having my phone's battery die during longer listening sessions. In fact, I am now ale to have my phone charged more after listening to music than it was before started listening to music. In short, I've found the best way to reduce my nightly clutter on my nightstand. I simply leave my SoundForm plugged in, place my phone on the charging mat (eliminating the need for the phone's charging cable), and use bluetooth to listen to my music and the morning news in the morning. I've find the solution I was looking for--its compact, it works well, and it sounds incredible when played at lower listening levels. I'll leave loud audio levels to my larger speakers with more midrange punch; my Belkin SoundForm is ideal for my nightstand, desk, or more private listening areas. I like it. And everyone is impressed with it's engineering pedigree and super efficient sound recreation.

I have this on my bedside table and it serves several purposes: wireless charging my smart phone, plays my music, interacts with my Alexa. I wish it wasn’t so large in size and was more attractive but overall happy with it. Set up easy and nice sound quality.

Been using this speaker for 4 days so far and it works fine. It’s a little bulky and takes up more space than our google home. The sound quality is good but definitely not exceptional. Volume gets very loud so it would be great for parties. The Bellinger system works with Alexa or your Amazon account. We don’t have an Alexa so some of the features are annoying to use- like Spotify. We can cast music from our phones easily so that is a plus. Our favorite feature is that it can charge wirelessly charge your phone.

I received this product for free to review and I have absolutely loved it! The setup was quick and straightforward. The sound quality is amazing and it charges my phone very well. It looks great on my little side table - sleek and subtle. I can't wait to continue to use this!

I received the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE Wireless Speaker (white) for free in return for my completing this honest review of it. Overall, this wireless speaker is great!! It is sleek and attractive, although the black color would have matched my decor slightly better. Set-up was pretty easy: getting Spotify to work was very simple, but it took me a bit longer to coordinate Alexa with the unit. I love that I can set my iPhone 11 on it and it will charge fairly rapidly. The sound quality is very good, too, with excellent bass. So far, my only problem has been that when it syncs to mu iPhone, it automatically ties in my phone calls using its speaker system which I would prefer it not do. My only minor criticism is that the instructions, while pithy and concise, are not quite adequate - a more comprehensive manual would be good.

I am SONOS user but I was attracted to this due to the wireless charger. I use this in my bathroom and the sound quality is awesome and very impressive. I was not expecting it to be this good. The wireless charger is very convenient and helps free up precious outlets for all my wife’s hair tools. Overall very easy setup. Alexa works well with it. After this purchase I will consider other Belkin products over SONOS.

The speaker was easy to set up and link to my many music sources. It worked seamlessly with Alexa - the way I control all my music devices. The overall sound quality is great from a relatively small package. The bass was particularly strong - not something I was expecting. It easily fills a medium to large room with sound. The overall look of the speaker is great and the on device buttons were intuitive.

This is a good all around product. We use it in our kitchen and it does all we need it to do. About the size of a cantaloupe, it doesn't take up much counter space. From a sound standpoint, this speaker is certainly loud enough. The bass is strong. We have it on a little shelf below cabinets, so the bass is a bit heavy, but I don't think that is the speaker's fault. It would be helpful if it came with better directions. The quick start guide says to download the app and follow instructions to set up. No problem doing so. The app however is a bit slim on features. I would appreciate a much more robust app that gives me full control over all functions. As it is, I'm still trying to figure it out, though I suppose I'll eventually learn all of its functions. Still trying to keep it from pairing with the nearest phone and broadcasting. Hopefully that's something that people in my house are causing and not the device. Does not charge all of our phones without removing the case from some of them. The charging speed is still faster using a plug-in charger. A good all-around product for your home needs.

I received this Belkin speaker for free in exchange for my honest review... Honestly, it's fantastic. So much better than anticipated. Synched flawlessly with the rest of my Google connected home devices. The sound quality is pretty darn impressive for a speaker of it's size. Fantastic overall frequency range with enough bass on tap for a nice tight rumble. The wireless charger is great as well and is a nice bonus on an already good product. I was a little weary of Belkin products for a while. I'm now considering another of these for my office. Would by again for sure

I LOVE this speaker!! I received the item to review. It's unlikely that I would have purchased this speaker on my own. I had an old Bluetooth speaker that I thought was sufficient. I was wrong! The sound of this speaker is amazing! I use Alexa a lot more now than before getting this speaker. The wireless phone charging is a great feature, but I've been holding on to an old phone and can't use the feature. I will correct that very soon! I don't have much use for the app. But had no problems setting the device up with the app, I like the Bluetooth functionality. I haven't used it much. I adore the white color for my bedroom. I have this at my bedside and look forward to easy phone charging when I upgrade to a compatible device. My only complaint is the bulky charger. It sticks out from the wall and I knocked it out. The company should perhaps adopt a style similar to most laptop chargers. The fragile power cord barely hit the ground and stopped working. But I still love the speaker and would recommend purchasing, just take care of the power cord.

I'm very pleased with the sound quality, appearance, ease of operation and wireless charging capability. The Belkin Soundform Elite punches above its weight. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone.

Excellent sound quality, easy setup, easy to connect and control. I've found that this product was easy to set up right out of the box, it was very intuitive and once connected I have had zero issues with playback or reconnecting. The sound quality is fantastic, combine that with the ability to pair multiple devices and you have a very nice product for this price point. I would definitely recommend this product and will be getting another unit for around the house.
