This speaker is too quiet. It does wirelessly charge, but speaker is a disappointment

I was amazed at the full bass resonance when I first turned this small speaker on. It's not punchy like a large subwoofer but it has a very full bass sound missing in other small speakers. The rest of the sound spectrum is nice too. I have a 512 Gb memory card in my phone that is mostly filled with music in a lossless format. This speaker sounds better than any other Bluetooth speaker I have used. There is a charging pad on top that charges a compatible phone that is handy when playing music for extended periods. This speaker also has Google Assistant. Setup was a snap, it found and helped me set up streaming services, smart appliances and even the thermostats in my home (OK, it's almost spooky how quickly it identified connected devices and streaming subscriptions). I got this speaker with the intent of listening to music and have been surprised at how many other functions it performs.

I ordered new and the item I received was clearly opened, used and dusty. I was unable to return it in time. It doesn’t always like my iPhone 12 Pro and sometimes stops charging. You cannot change the google assistant sensitivity and sometimes it stops working. For instance, sometimes it tells me it can’t play Netflix it turn off my android tv, but the google mini’s still work.

Expected better fidelity with the Devalier name. Not bad but just not great

First and foremost, I am super impressed with the sound output in this relatively small speaker. Music sounds great through this speaker and it has amazingly impressive bass. I'd give 10 stars for how great this speaker sounds. Now, for why I'm giving it only 4 stars... Our home, for a few years now, has a very established Google environment. There's some type of Google device in every room - even the garage. Setting up this Belkin speaker was actually very seamless. It connected, via our Google Home app, right away, without any issues. However, we've only had the speaker for 2 weeks (today) and it's disconnected from our Google Home setup - twice. I have no idea why it has done this, but both times, I had to unplug the speaker to reboot it before it would connect again. I know that our WiFi is not the issue because this speaker is the closest to the main hub of our mesh network... and all our other Google devices have been maintaining their connection. It's not a huge effort to get the speaker reconnected to our Google Home, but it's still something you don't really want to deal with. If this happens again, I'll next try to restore the speaker to factory settings, then reconnecting. Time will tell. So, would I recommend this speaker? For the music/sound output... 100%. Because of the connection issues I've already experienced, I can't recommend this speaker. What good is the sound if it keeps disconnecting?

I am sorry to say that this did not work with my iPhone - except as a charger - and I ended up returning it to the store.

Don't know. They sent me shipping and tracking may 25th. It has yet to actually be shipped. It's now June 11th. They even had the nerve to send me a follow up email asking how I'm enjoying my new tech. I guess kick them when they're down. Maybe I'll update this if they ever actually mail it to me.

I received a free Belkin Acoustics by Devialet speaker to review. I love it! The set up was clear, concise & simple & I am set up challenged. The sound is wonderful & I am subscripted to free music, so the music is free too! That's a yay. Its small & fits into any room in my home easily & isn't obtrusive or in the way. For its small size it delivers excellent volume & sound. And we move it around from room to room. When I'm upstairs I have it with me & when I'm in the garage working its with me there too! Very portable, outstanding sound, easy set up & user friendly

This speaker is replacing an original Google Home as my main speaker, alarm clock, and smart home control. It does most of these things perfectly well, but not as well as the Google Home did. The speaker is plenty loud and sounds great, but casting is hit or miss if you can get your phone to see that it is available. The alarm feature works great but it's harder to find the spot to turn it off in the morning. The wireless charging exceeded my expectations. The previous pads I have used were always a little fussy to get centered perfectly, but this speaker has it so it is always lined up. The smart home control works just as I expected.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this smart speaker. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review. Having never owned a smart speaker, I wasn't sure what to expect. As others have mentioned, the bass in this smart speaker is really good. I can turn on this smart speaker and play music at around 50% volume and still hear everything and not disturb the neighbors. I live in a studio apartment so this is really saying something. So far, I've only used this phone for calling, charging my phone, and playing music. Calling my boyfriend was a little funky the first time and took a total of three tries before it worked. I'm not entirely sure that he could hear me all that well since he had to ask me to repeat myself a few times. The smart speaker is only about seven feet from me btw. Setup was super easy and only took about five minutes. I did not trust leaving my credit card information in the app but hopefully I'll warm up to it in the future to access the shopping feature. I've noticed that this smart speaker responds to my boyfriend's voice even after setting the voice commands myself which kind of defeats the purpose. This also makes me weary of the safety and security of this device. Also, I was doing some voice recordings the other day and I saw the smart speaker mysteriously turn on and listen to me. At no point did I say the words "Hey Google". I have yet to discover how to choose which songs I want play via the YouTube music app which seems to be a combination of my playlist and random songs. This is not without a lack of trying. It'd be great to see which song is playing displayed prominently on the screen without having to check your phone. Charging my phone seems to be super fast. While I love how easy the setup was I'm worried about how safe this device is concerning any advanced features such as shopping. I'm excited to explore more possibilities with this device to make my life a little easier.

First off let me say I did not expect such a quality piece from Belkin. They have really stepped up their game. First off the packaging; Not quite to the same level of an Apple product but close. Simple things also impressed me. They way the AC power cord plugged into the unit was very cool. It slides in and flush to the base. Love the hard rubber pad the phone sits on for charging. Weight of the unit and solidness is outstanding. Now the stuff that really matters. The sound, especially the bass is amazing! Granted I replaced my home mini with this so it was surely going to be superior but I was still continually impressed. Linking to my Google Home - seamless and simple Linking to my cell phone, (Android) to play my personal music collection - seamless voice commands control volume and playback. Linking to my cell phone, (Android) for calls - seamless I am told that people can not even tell that I am on speaker phone which is a big deal for me because I typically dislike being on the other end of a speaker phone call. Phone Charging - Charges my phone in a reasonable amount of time perhaps a bit slower than a "Quick Charger" but not so much to be a problem for me. One criticism regarding the charging; the charging pad is large so it can accommodate various phone sizes which is great but there have been a few times that I though the phone was charging only to find out later it was not. This issue is easily rectified by taken a few extra seconds to ensure that the charging light is lit, meaning that it is connected and charging. The phone also beeps and indicates it is being charged, Easy fix right? just slow down a little and all is good. All in all a great addition to my Google home network, Currently the price here on Best Buy is $199 which I think is a good price for the value.

I received a free sample of this Belkin speaker. Overall I like the speaker but I would prefer that once it is fully charged I could unplug it from the wall and still use it. The sound is great, . Nice size, small and compact and you can charge your phone on it. Easy to setup with phone.

You get actual unit and charger with it. nice packaging. Instructions book very clear. Setup is very easy. Plug the unit to power cord, download google home, on your phone go to settings WiFi connect to belkin and then using google home you can easily setup. Sound and voice clarity is good, Bluetooth connectivity is good. I do not have wireless charging qualified phone so just want to skip that part, but I am sure it works cool based on other features. I will recommend this product.

I've had this speaker for 2 weeks now and so far I like it. I like that it's super easy to set up and the sound quality is amazing. I love the idea of being able to charge my phone, however, I have an Otter box case and I have to take the rubber part off if I wanna charge it. It's definitely worth the money and it's not to big.

I received a free sample of this product for an honest review. All opinions are mine. Overall, this is a really great speaker. The bass is amazing! The charging function is pretty sweet, but I do wish you didn't have to remove your phone from the case for it to properly work. The setup is super simple and only took a few minutes. Everything is done through the Google Home app. That leads to my only issue with this speaker. It's Google Home controlled. I adore all things Google, but their Google Home line needs some work. I have not been impressed with it in the past but wanted to give it another honest try. There is a definite and noticeable delay in the response time between the command and the result. It's just s-l-o-w. I also feel like the apps that work with the Google Home line are limited. Bottom line - if you love Google Home devices, this is a fantastic speaker! All of the drawbacks come from Google, not Belkin.

I received this for a promotional review. I have never owned a smart speaker before. It was very eay to set up, which is important. I finally know what all the fuss is about. I love saying Alexa put on my favorite radio station. The sound is great, I previously had an under the counter radio and this is so much better. Great sound and clarity. The bass is very clear, but not too much. I love being able to charge my iphone on the top of the speaker, without having to plug my phone in. I find that I use Alexa all the time because the speaker is in my kitchen, it looks great on the counter top. I find that I use the speaker for a timer when cooking which also comes in handy. I am very happy with this speaker and the quality of Belkin.

The speaker is plenty loud and will fill a decent size room, but the sound quality is just not good. It does produce some decent low notes, but the mids and highs are muffled pretty bad. I even turned on the dreaded eq on my connected phone to boost the treble and it got a little better, but still was lacking. I also tried setting it next to the mirror over the sink on the granite counter top in my master bath that also has tile floors just to be sure nothing else was affecting the sound. It didn't help. I'm not sure if this is a defective unit or not, but I do not like the sound it produces. It looks nice and the wireless charging top is a really nice feature, but the sounds quality is just bad.
