Nice product. However, it would have been better if it had its own power instead of relying on the laptop for power.

I replaced J5 type C to Dual HDMI mini docking station after it stopped working once updated my Mac to OS Catalina. Although, it’s almost 2x more $$, it worked out out of the box and so far so good. Build quality looks to be bit better also. Good product.

Feel solid when holding it, and very stable performance. Looks like it is going to last quite a while.

Added a second monitor and needed a docking station. I'm all in for minimal cables and wanted something with a small foot print. Also, I needed to have a mixture of HDMI and usb. No issues at all.

I received a brand new docking station yesterday, everything was working great, 2x 4k monitors, USB installed, ethernet running at 1Gbps. The USB-C/thunderbolt cable that comes out of the back is extremely short. I run my Macbook Pro on top of a stand, so I have to put the docking station on a separate stand so it'll even plug into my machine. After 24 hours, HDMI port 1 went out, and refused to work. I tried all of the normal troubleshooting: restarting machine, trying all ports on my Macbook, trying different HDMI cables, different monitors, but HDMI port 1 just randomly stopped working. I exchanged it for a new one today, plugged everything in exactly the way I had it before and both HDMI ports are working. Time will tell how durable the ports are. I'm hoping it's a fluke, but after looking up additional reviews on this product, it seems like broken HDMI ports is a common occurrence.

Tried it with the Ultrafine 5K and doesn't work as a hub for other connection types such as HDMI. But I'm sure it has it's use somewhere else.

Simply amazing. Allows me to connect 2 monitors to my MacBook with each screen being independent and not mirrored. Definitely worth it!

I wish I were happier with this product. It seem like I have to constantly unplug and plug the Thunderbolt cable into my MSI Windows 11 laptop every other time to get the monitors to refresh and come back on line. There is no driver for this docking station so this may very well be a Windows problem. Nevertheless, it should work more seamlessly than it does and, as such I can't recommend it. It does work once you fiddle with it, though.

I have 2 monitors. I wanted to connect them both to this. My LG 34 UW did not like to play well with it. I ended up having to run the 34 UW connected directly to my computer. Seems overpriced for the functionality in my book.

It’s ok for minor use, had to buy a powered unit direct from dell as I use it all day long and it gets red hot. I’ll use it at home when it’s casual use.

This dock connects at Thunderbolt 3 speed to your new MacBook. You get full speed gigabit Ethernet, two 4K @ 60Hz monitors and full speed USB 3 connectivity with one wire. I wonder why they bothered to put in the USB 2 port. They should have made it a USB 3 port.

This adapter has been great with my new MacBook Air. It has allowed me to connect two monitors and wireless mouse and keyboard whilst only using one of the two thunderbolt connections.

I purchased this docking station to use with my work laptop - it is light weight, extremely portable, and requires no external power. My only complaint would be that the USB ports do not seem to work regularly, but that is fine for me, as I primarily use them for charging only.

I've been looking for a simple docking station solution to be able to extend to two 24 in 1080p monitors with HDMI ports. I have a Dell S2419NX and an LG MP59HT. I received an email from Best Buy showing this Thunderbolt 3 solution on sale. I read the reviews thought I would give it a try. It arrived last night 8/9 and I tried it out this morning. I followed the advice in one of the reviews to plug in both monitors to the docking station first before plugging it into the Yoga. Then I turned the monitors on and used F10 to select "Extend ". It recognized both of them as well as my laptop screen. I'm able to use all 3 screens with different applications on each one. So I am more than pleased with the results. I wish it had a USB-C power pass-through but the ability to use two monitors easily was most important to me.

Using for work from home. Cool toy. Allows to use additional 2 monitors. not tested USB yet. Occasionally loses monitor and needs to restart or unplug - plug exercise. Also I learned not to be fun of USB "C" ports on Laptops. When used for USB "C" , or more importantly for Thunderbolt, Light touch of cable and your device is disconnected! BAD design for USB C Port in general, not just this implementation. Taking 2 Star just for "C" connector.

Equipment way too costly & connecting cord to laptop/system too short. However, offered all the ports needed to enhance laptop/computer system while working from home. No problems thus far & super easy set up.

Plugin 2 monitors is not working as expected, this was disappointing

Don’t blink cause you might miss something. Having a dongle is important tool and this is it.

This product allows me to have multiple USB devices on my new MacBook Air. I’m disappointed with my new Mac; it has NO plugs but this product saved me and allows multiple devices to be used simultaneously.
