I love this dock! I was surprised that even linux supports this dock right out of the box. Works well with windows and mac os with no issues. some times the dock has issue recognizing the usb peripherals. but most of the time it works as expected.

One of the best thunderbolt 3 docking stations I've tried. All ports work as designed. The only thing I would improve upon is the cable length. I would prefer it to be longer. And you can't use an extender. If the review system would allow 1/2 star increments, I would have chosen 4.5, but since it doesn't, and I felt it deserves more that 4.0, I rated it 5.0.

It does the job, good resolution, though some annoying behaviors that I decided aren’t workable for me: 1) moving a window from my laptop to external monitor the windows don’t auto adjust until I let go of them, so it’s annoying to position them. 2) when my computer goes to sleep and I wake it back up it bugs out until I unplug it and plug it back in. By bug out I mean the external displays are glitchy and offset by a third of the screen and it wraps around the other side.

Must have if you have multi monitors and other USB ports needed as well as the ethernet port this is a good good guy to have in your tech sack

There are definitely more Thunderbolt 3 options than there were ever Thunderbolt 1 or 2 docks. Belkin is late to the Thunderbolt 3 party, but brings a solid offering to make up for it. It gives users back so-called "legacy" ports, and brings something that most don't — full charging power to the 15-inch Thunderbolt 3 MacBook Pro. For 15-inch MacBook Pro owners that need the full charging power, the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD is a good, albeit functionally beige, choice from a vendor with a well-established Mac history. For that use case, the dock gets a 4 out of 5.

I bought this device after experiencing trouble during a presentation in early April with the output from my laptop through the usb-c dongle that came with the machine. I decided that would not happen again and I'm pleased to say that this station does a great job connecting to external interfaces. It's much more compact than the docking station I use at home and I'm not going to travel without it.

This has worked out nice. Exactly what i needed. Gets a little hot when using for a long time. Wish the cord was a little longer so its out of the way but otherwise, very satisfied

Running against a 16 inch macbook pro, with 2 4k monitors and 1G ethernet, no usb. This hub get hot, how hot, well, I mounted it under my desk with a bit of Velcro and it got too hot and one of the monitors would go on and off. Put a fan against it, solved the problem. I'll have to build a fan to put on it to keep it cool. Works otherwise, just not good with heat, make sure it has plenty of ventilation.

Haven’t used it much. Did work on the computer I wanted to use it on but does work on a computer I rarely use

It probably is a good product but wasn’t compatible with my lenova laptop for work so I returned it.

rate three stars because i needed something in a hurry but for the price i can buy 3 from Amazon with great reviews.

Would not be able to work at home without it! No problems, works exactly as it should. Easy to set up, just plug in and done. Also happy about the compact size.

Great usb hub for Mac, just wish the cord was a little longer

This is a TRUE thunderbolt device, not a USB 3 device. Works great with Mac OS Big Sur. Replaced a Belkin USB hub. Difference is night and day.

Got to say, it's a bit disappointing, as I tried using it with external Hard Drives and the connections were sporadic at best. Maybe it works better with devices you would only use intermittently...?

I purchased a new MacBook and noticed it didn’t have enough nor the needed ports. Best Buy Rep. knew exactly what I needed and directed me to it. Great assistance and product. I really appreciate Best Buy’s staff, product lines and pricing.

Great for connecting my add on monitors to my Mac. Also allows me to connect a hard line for ethernet to enhance my internet speed. Love it!

I got this to hook up my new MacBook Pro 19" to two monitors and it works like a charm. Plus it has additional ports. Highly recommended.

Resolution and scaling are a bit tricky. Well made but wish it had mounting option.
