I recommend this for anyone! I was able to to connect this to my m1 imac and you cant even tell its there. Its perfrct.

Note: the HDMI requires the laptop to support HDMI through USB. It doesn’t act as a HDMI USB video card. This might not be an issue today, IDK, but I have an older laptop I use that doesn’t allow me to use the HDMI on this. I have newer ones that work just fine. Otherwise it’s great!

Just what I needed

Small enough to travel with easily, but usually it just sits on my desk. It feels a little lightweight, not super premium or anything, but it's been reliable.
