Two days is such a short time for the adapter to stop working. Have you tried using it with a different compatible computer? How about connecting an external power supply? Recommended for Mac air

USB ports are working fine and I was able to even fork it out by connecting a usb hub to it for more slots. It does get warm but not overly hot.

The image is clear and works flawlessly. I like that I can charge it while it’s connected as well. I also use it as an adapter for my MacBook Air which has no ports for usb or hdmi and it works great for that. It was affordable and it works.

I use it for work to hook up my widescreen monitor, my wireless mouse, my keyboard, and my phone charger to my laptop. I was previously using a generic hub that didn't have as many ports and it the job, but I would need to use 2 of them. But this one is much better because it allows me to rapid charge my phone! And its nice to only have to plug one dock into my laptop.
