I paid a higher price because I had been buying the cheap ones on Amazon and sometimes they didn’t work. However, none of them flat-out broke – and this one did a month after purchase. Not good.

Not good for mac

The same thing happened when I tried to plug in my iphone through the docking station.

The delay is so bad that it’s not useable. Five seconds between typing and characters appearing….same with cursor movements. With the same devices I tried a different manufacturer product and it worked great.

Falls out

I discovered that it kept coming loose. It doesn't stay securely plugged in and since the short stiff cord leaves the adapter hanging out in space, it reoeatedly pulls just free enough not to work. Have to prop it on a small box, mug etc. Lame!

I tried different ports and different devices before determining this product was either poorly made or defective.
