I have also used it on phones, must have for easy connection and allows you to use hotel TVs when traveling.

Allows my parents to watch movies they download on their phones on their TV when they are camping with no access to airplay or Chromecast. Note that you cannot do this on "e" series iPhones.

USB C to an HDMI. Connected it and it worked with no issues. Perfect item, and especially for the price. It has a second USB C connection, but no other. Wish it did have other USB connections, especially with a chromebook. But does what I needed it for...a monitor

Great but GOOGLE can EAT ME

They did this to, instead, promote their own screen-share tech, which they sunset recently [shocker] so BE AWARE.

The device connected properly, images from the phone appeared on the TV and the charging port worked. All of the plugged connections seemed secure. The thicker plastic just next to the USB C plug is a tiny bit large and rub on the case as it is inserted. This is a minor issue. Overall, the adapter seems rather light weight and flimsier than the previous adapter I used.

Works well, occasionally needs to be replugged

It allows me to connect my VR headset to my laptop where it would otherwise be forced to use the weaker card. It definitely works, though occasionally it needs to be disconnected and reconnected upon startup.

The only issue I had was the little trick about the charging cable. The adapter seems to work without it, and the phone detects the adapter right away. The phone went into Samsung Dex mode so I could use the TV screen and phone more like a PC and a mouse. However when I tried to view a video on Netflix or Amazon, it would only work for a a few seconds and then quit with some error. Turns out, once I plugged in the power cord to the Adapter, all the errors stopped and it works great. So that power input is not just to charge your phone. It makes the adapter work properly as well.

I have had zero problems so far and I am very happy with the price and the ability to use another screen so easily.
