The HDMI adapter works well with my Samsung S20+5G phone. The only issue I had was the little trick about the charging cable. The adapter seems to work without it, and the phone detects the adapter right away. The phone went into Samsung Dex mode so I could use the TV screen and phone more like a PC and a mouse. However when I tried to view a video on Netflix or Amazon, it would only work for a a few seconds and then quit with some error. Turns out, once I plugged in the power cord to the Adapter, all the errors stopped and it works great. So that power input is not just to charge your phone. It makes the adapter work properly as well.

This is a valid product as it does exactly as it is advertised to do. I have had zero problems so far and I am very happy with the price and the ability to use another screen so easily. Perfect for work when you need to write in front of a class, like me, or school work!

Expensive, but works great, so far so good. Cheaper than the Apple brand

Worked well to connect ipad to the TV via HDMI cable in our hotel for movie nights. It didn’t work to connect my Nintendo switch to the iPad/Orion app to utilize my iPad as a screen.

Yet again bought this open box for under $10 original price is somewhere around $35 ! Works great for external display on my Samsung phone to mirror screen on my tv to watch movies as my phone works much master than my firestick!

It was easy to use and performed the job well. In my experience it did not charge my lap top well. With that said, who cares. I use it pretty often. I work from home and like the fact that I can easily use my monitors.

I use this because my laptop's HDMI port is connected to the weaker of its two graphics cards, while my C ports connect to the good one. It allows me to connect my VR headset to my laptop where it would otherwise be forced to use the weaker card. It definitely works, though occasionally it needs to be disconnected and reconnected upon startup.

Play games on iphone. Screen to small. This device put you stuff on a tv and you can charge at the same time.

Works with samsung dex, but its only capped to 1080p, even if you have a 1440p monitor. But if you put on screen mirroring, you can watch videos in 1440p or any resolution your phone can display. Very good for 30 bucks plus tax of course. When i plugged in the hdmi and entered dex mode, a notification popped up saying "Use genuine samsung dex accessories for the best samsung dex experience." So with that I supect that if you had a Samsung dex Accessory, 1440p or a better resolution can be an option

Great alternative and cheaper alternative to Apple counterparty product. Easy to set up. Just connect the wires. Essential for those who want to set up a monitor with a laptop.

Great product! Works well connecting my android phone to samsung smart TV!

Good product at a fair price. Allows my parents to watch movies they download on their phones on their TV when they are camping with no access to airplay or Chromecast. Note that you cannot do this on "e" series iPhones.

Works flawlessly for my purposes. This allows me to display my phone on the TV and also charge the phone.

The product was great works had no problems trying to get it to work. The price is not bad either maybe should have different cord lengths available that would make a great difference.

It works great on my iPad Air 5th generation. Now I can use my unlimited Verizon LTE/5G for watching HD on my TV without having to use hotspot which is capped. Note: I tested it on a Nintendo Switch OLED with the official AC adapter and it didn’t work at all. I believe that the power input is limited to a somewhat smaller amount than when plugging it straight into the device. This is not a big deal though because even while streaming hd and downloading huge files over LTE/5G at the same time on the iPad, it still charges faster than it drains which is all I required out of this device.

So this device is great. I am able to watch Netflix on my tv with out the lag of streaming it over wifi. Plus I can use my con on Netflix and watch it on my tv with out getting an error.

Bought this, worked right away displaying my Steam Deck while charging through the adapter and displaying my laptop. A friend of mine tried multiple adapters with nothing working until she used mine, so if cheaper ones don't work for you this is a pretty good one while remaining affordable. No delays in the display either. I like it a lot.
