I then connected this adapter to the Dell Dock (WD19TB) to connect my Dell Monitor with HDMI input. This adapter worked great and allows me to use my Dell docking station in conjuction with my new Mac mini M1 with Thunderbolt USB c ports.
I would recommend this to a friend Excellent streaming over Type C USB/HDMI!

Most importantly, this device works right out of the box without the need for downloading drivers, like Insignia. Strongly recommend as an alternative to Apple's own products, and 100% recommend over the same Insignia device.

It gets a little hot while charging but nothing to be concerned about

The Device Just Works!

Tried using it with a Samsung S10+ phone to a computer monitor and Samsung displays the DeX screen which is worthless but that's not the fault of the device. Working with Samsung support to "correct"!

Very good product if you don't need a full-fledged thunderbolt hub. It is not bulky, so it looks clean and also saves space on the desk. Successfully outputs 4k @ 60Hz. I do sometimes see, a glitch in the display. Can't say for sure if it's the adapter or the monitor [Acer CB282K]. Both are new, and I have not tested any of them with any other products. The additional USB-C port is only for charging. It won't support any SSD or any other device.

I was hoping to use this to hook up a Nintendo Switch and have it work similar to how the Switch Box does with the TV. Sadly, it didn't interrupt the switch to display video on my TV. So essentially, more of an issue with Nintendo and their proprietary dock than Belkin, BUT... if you're thinking of using this to do the same thing, it didn't work for me. Good luck! happy Gaming!
