Use this for the military and works fast and does what u need it to do

I bought this so I could work from home during the COVID19 pandemic. It reads my government issues smart card but sometimes need to wiggle the card to get it to connect. Otherwise does what it needs to do so I can do my job properly.

WORKS AS IT IS SUPOSED TO. JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE SMART CARD IS FULLY INSERTED. SOMETIMES YOU THINK IT IS ALL THE WAY IN BUT STILL HAS A FRACTION OF AN INCH TO GO YET TO BE MAKING CONDUCTIVITY WITH THE DEVICE

Easy to use, just hook up to computer and insert card.

Works great for what we needed it for, easy to use.

Very light and great for everyday use or travel. It is made out of plastic and doesn’t have a premium feel to it but I haven’t had any issues. There are red and blue LED status lights on the reader which is a nice difference from the usual green and red.

Purchased for my son who is in the military and this has been a great find! Even the guys in his barracks used it! Thanks for saving him time with having this to use in his own room.

Plug and play capability provided quick access to my work network. Worked immediately with my new laptop, and i had no problems with certificates or access. I would recommend for anyone with the requirement to use a CAC Card.

Works as expected looks good time saver. This was money well spent

It reads smart cards, including government common access cards. It is a little touchy in that any card it reader movement can cause it to view the card as disconnected. But for the price, it'll do in a pinch.

Exactly what I needed at a great price and in stock

We had to download a bunch of certificates for this reader to work but I think that was due to the security level of the website we were using. Other than that it worked the way it was supposed to.

Bought this for my husband so he could work from home while on leave for the navy. This CAC card reader works better than ones sold at military exchanges. The reader has a better connection when plugged into a computer than most other readers.

It does what it's supposed to do. It reads PIV cards. And it works. And the contract job I bought it for was supposed to last 90+ days, but it only lasted 45. Hooray. I now have something to sell on Ebay.

1st time using a CAC reader at home. A little confusing looking for the driver online. But in the end, it works. Must be some kind of preloaded driver because I never did find a good link.

This card reader has not given me any issues since I’ve bought it. If you need a CAC reader and don’t want to spend an outrageous amount of money, this is a great one.

Needed for work...very essential, especially during Covid times. These often come up missing in my line of world gotta, so you gotta get one that doesn’t look like everyone’s else’s.

This is an amazing product. It does everything it is supposed to do and I have had it now for about 2 to 3 weeks has been amazing job. I highly recommend this product from Best Buy to everyone.

If you use your personal computer for DoD work and have to sign in with your ID card then this is perfect. Just be careful with MAC computers.

This is just what I needed. I purchased one year ago and it's still works great without any issue. If you are looking for a cac reader this would be what you are looking for. Go for it .
