It’s as if it can’t keep up the speed or transfer the information quick enough. It works though just a little slow at first and then it goes to a normal speed

Waste of money get another brand or something.

Tried with Lenovo support on the phone too. They wanted me to send the laptop (which is less than 24 hours old) to them.

I was able to use it once after restarting my Ma but the second time the issue persisted. I tried with my windows usb c Laptop(Dell XPS 13 2017) and the adapter works fine on that. I presume that the adapter is unable to handle 30 hz provided by the macbook. My samsung galaxy note 9 also had some intermittent flickering issues but was bearable. I expected a better quality product from Belkin.
