The lock had been sawed off by an amateur thief, leaving so much rust on it that perhaps the saw wasn't sharp. Just a FYI. The electric scooter is ineligible for Bell’s “Anti-Theft Protection Program”.

Scooter is very secure with this lock! Only problem is the secure handlebar clip doesn’t fit on the Segway.

Solid locking mechanism. However, it is a bit on the heavier side.

It’s still in box I didn’t use it at all it’s a bit heavy to use it with my e Scooter can’t hang be hanging anywhere

Good lock, my son got this for his scooter and loves the fact one of the keys has a flashlight so he can still see if it gets too dark out. It is also super easy to use. Only part he isn't a fan of is how heavy it is. He carries it in a backpack when he travels, but it's pretty heavy. He tried having it on the handle bars but would pull his scooter handles.

U-lock is really hefty, very well built. Unlikely that anyone would ever be able to cut this without making a tremendous amount of noise. Only real concern is can these be picked? I don't know, I guess we'll find out.

Pros: noone has broken through the lock yet. The cable feels sturdy and the key is easy to use. Bonus pro, it comes with a flashlight on the key. Con: this is heavy

very good lock i love it. the lock provides a sence of security and piece of mind when i lock up my e-bike on my daily comute. the added steal cable also is great for locking my bike to areas that dont have a dedicateted bike area its very versitile i would recomed this lock to anyone

The Bell Catalyst 550 U-lock provides excellent security for my bike. It's very sturdy and includes a useful cable lock for added versatility. While a bit heavy, it offers peace of mind knowing my bike is well-protected.

Definitely a must buy if you purchase a scooter. Another aspect to protecting your purchase outside of the scooter security features. Easy to use and works well in inclement weather.

Better value than any other lock I’ve gotten. I can’t see anyone getting thru this very easily. Key lights up which is cool for night time.

I bought this u lock because my other Bell u lock couldn’t lock anymore. So I was looking for a familiar one, but I guess they don’t make them anymore since mine was longer. I like this lock but. I don’t use the cable because I already have a cable with a lock.
