With three different light options(Bright, Brighter, or Flicker brightness) there is no shortage of safety. Great light combination. It does need AA batteries which are not included.

Long run time for the white strobe light.
I don't think 10 lumen rear lights should even been sold. That is not enough light for a car to see a bike from a reasonable distance. For comparison, a car taillight is about 400 lumens.
