Great slow cooker

The unit smelled like a chemical bomb went off

All three bowls burned the food on in the lower back. I would have returned the unit but did not realize the return window was only 15 days, I went out of town thinking I would return it after I got home.

Definitely make sure you follow the instructions on breaking it in before the first use. It puts off quite an odor that first use and you don't want your food to taste or smell like that.
