I'm a gadget guy, and I love good deals. This satisfied both, so I bought this for our household in hopes that it wouldn't become another item that sits in a box unused. (Like our bread maker, big stand-alone mixer, etc) I'm happy to say this was a great choice--my wife is using it at least 2-3 times per week for pork, chicken, beef...basically all of our main courses. The pressure cooker cuts down the time needed to cook the meats significantly, plus the pressure helps infuse the meat with its own natural juices resulting in very tender and flavorful meats. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

I purchased this as a deal of the day and absolutely love it! I was hesitant at first not knowing how to operate this machine and if it's actually "safe"to use... but it is. I got a friend to buy one and we love sharing receipe ideas. The only draw back is that it's got a nonstick coating which can scratch easily and the top nozzle gets temperamental which means you might need to tap it to stop it from releasing pressure while in use. Otherwise, I'm happy with this being my first pressure cooker... VERY easy to use. Price and product was worth it at just under $40. When this burns out... I'll be comfortable buying a more expensive one.

It brings the heat. The Bella 6 quart pressure cooker, while not an essential kitchen tool, adds convenience, speed and the ability to tenderize tough cuts of protein into fork-tender bites of goodness. It does all the chores other multi-task pressure cookers can, but requires slightly more work on your part to ensure you have programmed the right setting and time. It's not a big deal because you'll get it after the first time you use it. The build is solid and the pot is non-stick, so don't go poking around the pot with iron utensils. I'm looking forward to trying proteins I've avoided before, like goat, elk, and lamb.

Look I do not claim to be a chef or expert with a pressure cooker. I did prior often use a crock pot for many dishes over the years. I read the directions and attempted to make a pot roast. It was just okay not as good as when I use the crock pot and cook for hours on low. I was a little confused with the settings and read the directions several times. I think it should have cooked longer and may be the issue. The meat appeared to be cooked but just not as tender or as much flavor. Please note this is my first experience using a pressure cooker so maybe with time it will have second thoughts. Unit seemed solid and did not give me any problems clean up was not too bad as well. For now its been sitting in the closet awaiting my next attempt. Hope other have better luck

We hesitated to purchase a pressure cooker for a year or 2 being afraid of the possibility of it blowing up on us. After seeing that making 2 meals for the week every weekend took a lot of the weekend away from us. We took the plunge and have not regretted it The cooker cooks meat thoroughly and leave the flavor in the food in half the time of before. We have switched to being vegetarian and vegan lifestyle and cooking plant based meal does not cause cooking issues with the cooker. It does it all.

A Simpler Way to Do Pressure Cooking

I already have a standard pressure cooker and when I saw this as a Deal of the Day, it was cheap enough to have a crack at doing it electronically. I had my son, who has almost zero cooking knowledge and he was successful at it. I tried it myself and the meals came out as if I cooked them using a standard one. But this is easier because you can use the presets, It is also easier to use because now I only have to clean the inner pot and the cover vs. cleaning the entire pot which can be bulky and heavy.

I was apprehensive trying instant pots but when this came on sale I took a chance. I'm glad I did. It's a great way to get me to cook on busy or lazy days and everything comes out so flavorful. I can't wait for it to get cold here so I can make soups. Reduction of 1 star because food odor does linger after use and a stainless steel pot would be preferred you avoid scratching when washing. Still a great investment for introducing yourself to pressure cooking.

This pressure cooker is much easier to use than other models I have owned over the years, and that, in itself, makes it more desirable as a tool to make food, especially meats, melt in your mouth. My hubby often says how he wouldn't even need teeth to eat some of the things I've used the cooker for. It's an amazing cooking tool, a must for any kitchen, and it is reliable. The pressure cookers of the past cannot compare!

I've got an Instant Pot in my home in Kentucky and love it. We were spending 3 months in Florida and I quickly started missing my instant pot. I took a chance when the bella was on sale. I love it! In some aspects more than the IP. I like the controls better. The ONLY negative is the Teflon coated aluminum pot. It cooks great but just needs plastic or wooden utensils as it is not as robust as the stainless pot of the instant pot. Buy it, you'll love it.

Let me say that I bought the 5-quart Instant Pot a couple of years ago and I thought there could not be a better pressure cooker. However, I wanted a 6-qt and found this one on sale. I was a little leary, but I have used it once and it actually might be better than my Instant Pot! It has the same settings, but it heats up so much faster! I love this pressure cooker!!

I had a previous pressure cooker that I loved using at least three times per week, however, it broke. When this one popped up on sale, I reviewed it and decided it was the one to buy. It arrived quickly, was packaged nicely, and had understandable directions. I like that you can use it as a slow cooker although I use it to cook stews and chicken soups. It was worth the purchase!!

I purchased this pressure cooker in hopes it would be useful to my dinner making strategies. It doesn't even work and unfortunately since I didn't use in time for the refund policy at Best Buy I'm now stuck with this junk that I wasted my money on. I've gone through the instructions multiple times and even tried to just fill it with water to see what it would do and NOTHING! I would suggest purchasing a different pressure cooker but pass on this product!

I paid less for this pressure cooker than other comparable cookers but it seems to do all the same things. There are Saute & Brown settings which are very useful, and it can also be used as a slow cooker. It's amazing how fast food gets done! You can brown & cook in one pot, even keep warm, and with the nonstick interior clean-up couldn't be easier

Our first meal with the Bella - 6-Quart Pressure Cooker was a pot roast and it was delicious. We liked how everything was done in a single pot, how it only took a little over an hour to cook and the end result. Online recipes are primarily geared towards hot pots which are slightly different but are easily modified to work with the Bella. The results and the price point make it a good value.

I had bought one previously for my son-in-law at a different store on sale. He cooked a meal with beef and it was so tender and seasoned and I wanted to buy one for myself. I went to Macy's because it was on sale at the same price I had bought his, but my daughter looked online and said that it was at a better sale price at Best Buy. So we ordered online since it wasn't in stock. It arrived on time, and I have prepared delicious meals.

I made pot roast with the Bella and it turned out just as good as my trusty $20 slow cooker. The pot lining and lid are made of aluminum and they feel cheap. The non-stick coating on the pot scuffs easily. The simple cook settings is nice, just select the appropriate cook setting and everything done for you. I was not too impressed with this product.

I needed a larger pressure cooker since my current one (2Q) was too small. This 6Q pressure cooker is perfect for cooking for 2 people plus leftovers for lunch the next day. I have cooked dried chickpeas, beef and chicken dishes and they all turned out great. All the preset settings worked as recommended for the various types of food. The price I paid was excellent for a cooker of this capacity!

Potato soup (using raw potatoes) in 20 minutes...with the press of one button. I have enjoyed using a similar unit (other brand) for 2 years, and bought the Bella to keep at my winter home. The Bella appears to be better quality. Plus, unlike the other unit, it came with clear instructions...and a recipe book. I recommend the Bella. It combines the ease of a slow cooker with the speed of a pressure cooker.

Only used it a couple of times and so far it’s been great. I sear meat before starting the pressure cooker. Beef came out perfectly moist and tender. For rice, rather than using the instructions in the manual, I followed the instructions on this link: https://www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-basmati-rice/

I Love it! Would recommend this electric pressure cooker. I would however play around with the recipes and cooking time. I discovered having equal amts of liquid to rice and pressure for less time gives you fluffier rice than less less liquid to rice, over a longer time. I like the feature to be able to add and deduct minutes. So easy to clean up
