You put the water in the tank, the coffee in the cone filter, close the lid and press ON and it makes the coffee by drip method

I can honestly say that I haven't used very much. The coffee has a funky taste to it. Yes, I ran plain water through it a few times to get the factory taste out...apparently to no avail. Really wished I liked more.

Easy to use; looks good; like the hidden power cord; small footprint. I could live without the beeping when I hit the ON button & when the brewing is done & when the unit shuts off after 2 hours. To prevent possible damage from steam, I pull unit out from underneath the upper cabinets. I did have water leak onto the counter during the initial plain-water flushing, but I take the blame for that because I forgot to put the filter basket in place; no leaking when I did it correctly.

This coffee maker is the biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased. I should of been weary when it didn't level correctly on any surface. I went to cleaning it and poured some water into the reserve and next thing I know it is coming out of the bottom spilling everywhere. Guess I'm not having coffee tomorrow

My first few pots of coffee brewed quickly and came out nice and hot. Shortly after, the brew time began to slow and the water would not completely run through unless I held the lid down tightly until it was finished brewing. Coffee still comes out hot but I don't like the hassle of holding down the lid. Would not recommend.

while this coffee maker is quite attractive, it is not easy to set up. thecpot sometimes does not allow the water to flow through the grinds and down into the pot. This causes a backup, and the grounds wind up spilling all over. The filter only sits properly when installed in the right direction and the cover is very hard to open.

When I accidentally put grounds through the water tank of my girlfriend's expensive coffee maker I was sure I was going to be spending a mint securing a replacement. I came across this find on the Best Buy website and it has everything I need without extra features that the average before work drinker doesn't want to deal with. It's got a bold setting, a timer, and an on and off switch and to boot it's a very handsome maker with a handsome pot to match. We are both very happy and Best Buy's pickup process was smooth as usual.

This is the third Bella coffee maker that I have purchased. The first one I damaged by keeping it on with no water, the second one just quit. Best Buy made good on the guarantee and I have the third maker right now. I did purchase the insurance as it was a deal. The Bella makes excellent coffee so will see how long it lasts.

Had this delivered and set it up according to instructions, but water kept splattering all over the place and leaking out the back all over the counter. Tried 2 more times to get it going and the same thing happens each time. I finally drove to the closest city that had a bestbuy to return it for a refund. Bought a French press instead and am 100% happier I did. The French press makes the best tasting coffee I've ever drank!

Very satisfied with the brewing process, itself, but design lacks a bit. There are 2 slots in the back of the coffee maker where the water is stored for the brewing process. When a full 12 cups of water is poured into the tank, the water level comes right up to the bottom of those 2 slots. If the coffee maker were to be bumped, water would come out of the back of it, spilling onto the counter. Condensation also forms under the coffee maker lid while brewing and so when you open the lid to remove the coffee grinds, the water runs down the lid and drips onto the back of the coffee maker. For the money, it does what it's supposed to do and I like that I can program it so that my coffee is ready when I walk into the kitchen in the morning.

I originally purchased this coffee maker based on other reviews I had read. I initially loved this product, and thought it was a steal at less than $30. Boy, was I wrong. When pouring water into the reservoir, or coffee into my cup, unless you pour at precisely the exact angle, you WILL spill water n coffee EVERYWHERE! Secondly, the basket into which the coffee drains into the coffee pot, the piece on the bottom w the spring comes off every time I clean it. Luckily, my wife has tiny hands, and she can place the cheap rubber disc over the drain tip, inside the basket. I wanted to love this product, but after only a few months, am regretting this purchase. Will be going out tomorrow to buy a new one. Piece of junk!

I read a lot of reviews on coffeemakers and the Bella had some of the better reviews but not the warnings I would have liked to know. I like the cone shape (#4 filter). It comes with a reusable mesh filter but I found it left a thick, sludge-like substance at the bottom of my cup. My coffee is ground for a drip coffee maker. To read the water tank level you have to look at the side--I turn the machine so I can see the water level as I pour in the water. On the plus side, I've better control of where the water goes as I pour it in. It does make a loud, burbling noise as the last of the water is pumped through. And then it beeps (4 times, I think) when the cycle is complete, but not necessarily when all of the water has dripped through the coffee. I lift the water tank lid after I've turned it off to let the water/condensation dry out. Unfortunately, there are some areas that collect water and are difficult to dry. I would recommend it, but not strongly.

This replaced a Kenmore that just up and died one morning. Anyway, I researched pretty carefully and at one point considered a Cuisinart model that had good ratings but I saw this one on sale and since it had most of the features I wanted went with it at less than 1/3 the price of the Cuisinart. I generally prefer white appliances but find coffee makers in white get stained with brown after awhile so I decided to get this one which is in black and chrome. It has the cone style filter which I prefer as I think they do a better job when you are doing only a few cups of coffee. It also comes with a permanent filter but I use filter papers instead. Unlike most coffee makers I've bought in the past, this one doesn't have a setting for 4 or fewer cups. It has no problem with 4 cups which is my typical morning allotment. I'ven't tried with fewer cups but measuring the water would be tricky in that instance as the window on the side of the coffee maker starts at the 4 cup level. BTW, it would be nice to have windows on each side of the coffee maker - I'm right handed but have to fill the reservoir with the carafe in my left hand so I can easily see the water level while pouring. This unit has a "bold" setting but I'm not sure it makes much difference with the number of cups I usually brew. Programming is easy enough, brewing time is decent and, like most coffee makers these days, it shuts off after a couple of hours. When finished brewing, the clock actually shows how many minutes have elapsed since the brewing was completed. The brew pause works well and I find as long as you don't try to pour too quickly, the carafe doesn't make a mess.

    My Coffee Tastes Great!

I used to have a Melitta 12-Cup Coffee Maker until I accidentally broke my glass carafe like a dingus. As some of you have experienced, a morning without coffee can be equivalent to experiencing a traumatic event. Nevertheless, I have always stuck with Melitta Coffee Makers because they have multiple brew settings: Regular, Bold, & Robust. For lovers of really dark and strong coffee, this ability to switch between multiple brew settings is godsend! BB fortunately did not carry Melitta makers and I couldn't find one that did have those settings until I saw this beauty! Soooo I got a coffee from my local SB and picked this guy up from BB and man this was one of my best success stories in life! My coffee tastes so amazingly good now I am blown away daily! The coffee maker even comes with it's own permanent filter which is also really nice: no more buying paper filters or trying to find the right permanent filter online! It doesn't have a robust setting but it's bold setting works good enough! The only cons I can think of is that the latch for removing the top lid to access the water and coffee compartments can be a bit of a pain to get open and the glass carafe can easily spill water/coffee out when pouring. For the latch, you have to push forward the latch and lift up without a lip to pull up on-so as you can imagine it can be a bit cumbersome. Regardless of the cons, I highly recommend this coffee maker!
