Works as advertised! Got it on sale for around $9 and figured why not give it a try. I just wanted to avoid having to go through the hassle of boiling water, etc. The only issue I have is I wish the timer on it at least beeped or something other then just the light going out. So basically you just have to figure out how long it usually takes to cook the eggs and go about it that way so you can still do other things and not just watch for the light to go out.

Works great, and love the poached eggs addition is perfect for quick breakfast in the am.

Oh my God this is so perfect i usually burn my eggs when cooking on the stove top from not paying attention with this all you have to do is add a cup of water with the cup that it came with and turn it on, after the water runs out its done and automatically turns off by itself it holds 7 eggs and it also do poached eggs as well. I love this i recommend this product.

Amazing little egg maker, easy to set up, clean and put away

So far I've only tried hard boiled and poached eggs. My first attempt at hard boiled I used tap water and of course the minerals in the water showed up on the burner. Vinegar and water cleared that up. Second try was poached egg, came out more hard boiled. And tray took a while to clean. Bought some distilled water. Sprayed poach tray and used a little less water and this resulted in a little runny yoke and they literally slid out of the tray. Last I hard boiled 2 eggs this time using distilled water. Eggs were just right and fairly easy to peal. AND no mineral stains on burner plate. Nice cheap toy that works as advertised.

This very helpful appliance is awesome. Being able to cook a half dozen boiled eggs without watching the stove, is great. Its a small appliance, so even if you leave it on the counter it doesn't take up much space. This appliance takes the hassle out of boiling eggs, and makes your meal preparing convenient. As always, Best Buy had a great price.
