For years, I have tried every method to hard boil eggs so they are easy to peel. I am a great cook and baker but this simple task of boiling eggs was a frustration until I bough this little gem. OMG, perfect eggs every time that are easy to peel, plus it takes about 8 minutes to cook 7 eggs. The poached eggs come out perfect too! I learned the hard way that if you are going to cook poached eggs please use cooking oil to spray the poached egg tray, if not it is a long process to clean it( (operator error). All in all a great little machine. mtnarts2

You will never go back to boiling eggs after using this. Easy to use and you can just make 1 egg if you chose.

Growing up, my dad always had to have his egg cooker for his hard boiled and poached eggs. In my opinion, this is the only way to make poached eggs and it also makes hard boiling easier and faster. I bought this on clearance and have been very happy with it. We use it daily, because we eat a lot of hard boiled eggs. I personally felt the directions for the poached eggs had them coming out with the yolks too hard and started measuring about 2 tablespoons or so.

If you eat eggs this cooker is a must. Inexpensive, cooks eggs (hard-boiled or poached) perfectly!

This is great for hard boiled eggs. Do not poke a hole in the egg shell like the instructions recommend. It just makes it messy. They will come out perfect without doing that. As far as poached; not great. You have to put butter or spray to keep the egg from sticking to the tray and the lid does not fit securely with the poaching tray. Not that big of a deal. The downside for me is that the egg does not come out like a poached egg, it's more the texture of an over easy egg. Not bad, but not poached.

It is a good little egg cooker. I have only used it once but the eggs actually peeled quite easy. That has been a big issue with out boiling procedure. I do wish it had an alarm to notify you when it is done so you would know when to cool the eggs. Otherwise a good unit for the money. Will cook 7 eggs at a time.

Cooks eggs fast and they come out perfect eact time. Very easy to use

This is one of those small appliances that you don't think you need in your life until you have it. It cooks up to 7 eggs evenly and quickly without boiling a whole pot of water. Would reccomend.
