Great for making hard boiled eggs but...

I gave only 4 stars though because of the cheap plastic design. I know the product isn't expensive in the first place and I did get it on sale as a Best Buy Deal of the Day, but the first time I used it, the knob on top broke off so I'm stuck with no handle to pull off the lid. Regardless of the price, the product should not break so easily or quickly. But I do want to reiterate, it does make a perfectly good hard boiled egg.

You add variying amounts of water and when it is all boiled off the eggs are done: that's the timer!
