But the reason why I gave 3 star is you need to keep on the cooker when it is ON because once the water runs out your whole house will start to smell bad. The measuring cup came with the cooker doesn't seem to be accurate for me. I always ended up adding more water. Now I just doubled the water quantity and set the timer. For 7 eggs 7-8minutes for soft 12-13 minutes for hard.

If you don’t push in that button, the device turns itself back on minutes later and the light comes back on, and so the device that is wrong, could cause a fire!

I would say in the one year that I have this little machine, it has worked well 75% of the time, with the remaining 25% the eggs get damaged or are inedible. For the price though ($8 on a Deal of the Day) I couldn't really ask for more.
