    Makes good waffles, but doesn't *quite* spread better evenly edge to edge. It is more effective than standard waffle makers, though, and flipping the whole thing upside down makes me feel fancy. So overall it is worth it.

    When I say, real, that’s what I mean. If you’ve ever traveled to Belgium and tasted waffles there, I don’t have to explain what a treat they are. I just made a batch of the real thing in my own kitchen here in Missouri from a recipe I found online with this little waffle maker. It’s not like the flip-over kind you find in hotels; it’s not that heavy duty. But it’s fine for home use, and, like I said, it can produce the Real Thing!
