Customers regard the 10.5-qt. 5-in-1 Indoor Grill and Air Fryer favorably for its ease of use, large size and cooking capacity, and generally positive cooking performance. Many appreciate its design and find it to be a good value for the price. However, some customers note that the preheat time is lengthy, and a few experienced issues with an initial chemical smell and less-than-intuitive controls.

I am very impressed with this air fryer. It cooks food evenly and much faster than a regular oven. I have tried chicken, fries, and even baked goods, and everything comes out crispy and delicious. The controls are simple to use, the design looks modern, and it’s easy to clean after use. It has become one of my favorite appliances in the kitchen, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile air fryer.

Very good Griller - Fryer though big

Observations,
The Bella 5 in 1 indoor grill and air fryer is an attractive unit that looks modern and will fit well in kitchens that have ample counter space to house it.
The display is blank until you plug it in. Once plugged in, the power button illuminates until it is pressed. When you turn on the power, the menu symbol flashes. The menu button is the starting place for all your grill and frying needs. Upon pressing the menu symbol, the food options illuminate letting you choose what type of food, temperature, and time duration you want.
The internal light within the drawer comes on for the first minute you are cooking and then goes out. You can manually turn on the light whenever you want to check on the food.
Cooking
The grilling and frying results were very good. Whether grilling vegetables or frying your favorite foods, the effects are very good. The large basket allows you to cook large amounts to suit your needs.
Odd things
The Bella 5 in 1 gets hot when using it. The instructions have a warning for users to have something between the unit and the counter to protect it from the heat or it could permanently damage the counter. Heat exhaust from the rear of the unit as well may damage the back splash too.
Instructions are basic and adequate, but somewhat confusing and use a lot of symbols to illustrate functions.
The design is a bit bulky and takes up a lot of space. If you have a smaller kitchen, you may want to store the Bella when not in use. Care is needed when opening the drawer as it could fall out when opening.
To navigate to the different cooking functions, you must press the menu button multiple times to get to where you want. There are symbols on the touch screen that display different food options, shrimp, Chicken, pizza, fish, bread, steak, fries and dehydrated. Though there are symbols for the cooking types, they are not part of the touch screen. Currently to select the cooking option you want; you must cycle through all the options to get to your desired cooking type. If you miss the one you want, you need to cycle through it all over again. One area that would be of great use would be up/down and left/right arrows to aid in navigation to the different cooking options.
There are up and down arrows that allow you to set time and temperature, but not the cooking function. These arrows are limited to these two functions only.
There are audible beeping sounds for when you press the keys, to remind you to turn the food and when food is done cooking. This is a very convenient feature.
When using the unit, the sound level is fairly quiet and non-intrusive, which is a benefit of the 5 in 1.
Overall, the Bella 5 in 1 is great at what it does, cooking good food, however the size may turn some people off if they don’t have the counter or storage space for it.

5 in 1 Super Air Fryer

The Bella Pro 10.5 qt. 5 in 1 appliance is an air fryer, indoor griller, roaster, toaster, and dehydrator. It is a 1700-watt system that offers a large capacity and eight (8) preset functions for preparing steak, fries, fish, bread, pizza, shrimp, chicken, and drying fruits. It allows for year-round grilling with a grill function that adjusts up to five hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
This deep air fryer comes with an integrated timer that has an automatic shutoff which is a plus in our busy world where multi-tasking is often forced upon us. The basket in the unit is removable for easy cleaning which is an essential element of the overall design to allow for keeping the unit clean. With the Air Fryer’s eight (8) different temperature settings, it operates on 120 volts of electrical power and offers the ability to cook a range of foods. While in full operation, the unit will heat to a minimum temperature of 90 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum temperature of five hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
Weighing 17.19 lbs., it is a countertop unit that does require some space. Still, it can help eliminate other small appliances, but its footprint requires a space that is 17.4 inches wide x 14.76 inches deep. It is also 10.23 inches in height. The materials used in manufacturing the Bella Pro 5 in 1 small appliance are BPA-Free. It is boxed with a couple of accessories which are both PFOA-free. The accessories include a non-stick cooking pan and a crisping tray. Because of the material used to make these accessories, all baskets, trays, and components are extremely easy to clean up.
This air fryer provides a nice ample 10.5-quart capacity with a large viewing window. This is a substantial size for a family meal. It has digital presets and a nice touchpad that allows for the presets or setting your own time and temperature. The indicator lights only come on for a minute and if touched stays on until your selections have been set. It is also not programmable and has no heat thermometer, both missing features would have otherwise enhanced the product. One still can set temperature and time, increasing, or decreasing both when just using the presets. The Bella-Pro 5 in 1 does not have a detachable cord, but it seems ample enough to reach the outlet. Of these things, the missing feature that I really wish it did have would be a meat thermometer. In today’s world of unsafe food, it is all that more important to be sure that what you cook is cooked well and a meat thermometer really helps with determining the level of how well meats are cooked before eating.
It takes quite a while to dehydrate fruit and the longer the unit is on the exterior heats up simultaneously, so it is important to leave an air space all around the unit and to have read all the directions prior to beginning any use. Also, if you do not read the instructions, you will not be reminded about plasticizing where the heat from the bottom of the unit can permanently cause damage to your countertop. I have set mine on an acrylic cutting board that is about the size of the unit’s footprint and have been checking between different uses to see if there is any excessive heat. Any type of countertop appliance has the same issues if used too long, set on too high a heat, and left in the same identical spot on the countertop. This is just something to be aware of when setting the unit up for use.
The Bella Pro 5 in 1 has been designed and manufactured to efficiently prepare meals. Often too much energy is used to heat up a range oven for one item, etc. This device reduces energy usage because of its size in comparison to large built-in units. I like this 5 in 1 unit for me and will be eliminating other small appliances on my countertop because this unit can manage all types of food preparations. I would recommend that you look at it. It is not too big and not too small to meet most needs.

So anticipated - defective and returning

I was so fired up ready for this thing after 3 different Amazon options. The unit is surprisingly short in height, although the width and size of the basket is huge! Makes you wonder why the others are so tall. Hmm. The user interface gets a 5/10 for having to cycle your options with a single button (single point failure). The light and glass front door is awesome. There isn’t a manual setting. You’ll just have to adjust off of the first preselect option and time your cooking that way.
My unit keeps cutting out at three minutes and comes back on at two minutes and 30 seconds. Then it goes out again at two minutes and stays off until one minute and 30 seconds. The entire cycle before this happens works fine. I was excited about the 450° temperature because that’s not the norm for other air fryers in its class, but I honestly was never able to get a super good crisp. The defective unit is making me return it and hopefully its replacement will work correctly.
Oh and having to wait for the pre heat sessions to put your food in can cause you to wait at your counter for 3-5 minutes just to start the cooking.

Great Air Fryer. It comes with many options for different food; Fries, Chicken, Fish, Pizza etc.. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that the Air Fryer has to be preheated every time you have to cook something even when you’re switching from one type of food to the next…

Easy to use, plenty of space... I can (and do) cook just about anything in this monster. If you have more than a couple mouths to feed, this is a pretty solid unit at a reasonable price. Know that it's not something likely to fit in a cupboard to keep out of the way... Luckily it looks pretty classy and matches any appliance with black and chrome.

We absolutely love our new air fryer! It’s large inside and cooks well! It’s easy to clean! Although there is no “other” setting, it is easy to program another with something that may not be listed there. Definitely happy about the purchase!

Pretty solid piece for the price. I had never tried to do a steak on an air fryer but with this one I gave it a shot. I must admit that I was impressed. I won’t say that is optimal but it did beat my expectations by a lot. It is easy to clean and the pizza attachment definitely will come in handy. A little slow on the digital menu I must say. It is not straight forward like a software should be in this day and age.

I purchased to of these because they were on sale. One for myself and one for a relative. They have been working well and they cook food well. I have not had any issues thus far.
You would think that all of the icons would be interactive but you can only touch the bottom row of icons. You have to select the menu button to cycle through the presets. Selecting the buttons can be hit miss sometimes as far as registering the presses.
Overall I like it and would purchase it again at the sale price.

Like the compact size but it takes some time to get use to how it operates. Wish it had a dial rather than a touch screen. Other than that it cooks well but you can't put anything in that's too high. Got it at a good price last year. But I wouldn't pay full price for this.

This air fryer was amazing! It grilled our food to perfection. It’s annoying that you have to push one button to select your desired mode as opposed to making the whole screen touch screen but it definitely cooks the food well. I gave it four stars because there us only one operational button otherwise its a great product at a great price.

This is my favorite kitchen appliance. I use it instead of the old oven and stove top in my apartment, and it works like a dream. Truly my only complaint is that the beeping when you press buttons is unnecessarily loud; otherwise, though, this air fryer/'indoor grill' is a great purchase.

I looked at air fryers for so long and was so lost about what to get, or whether I even wanted another gadget on my counter. I finally pulled the trigger and got this one on sale, and I can't believe I ever went without one!
My most popular request for meals since getting this is steak. I cook it straight out of the freezer and cheaper cuts come out better than any expensive steak on the grill, pan-fried, or oven-broiled! Brush frozen steak with a little olive oil, season, set air fryer and in a fraction of the time spent over a hot pan/grill/oven you have the juiciest steak!
This air fryer is very easy to set, goes up to 500°F, has 8
food options to choose from (each option has the temp & time setting to go with it as well for easier cooking without guessing the time window when it is cooked or not) and has a window in the front that I love to look at how things are progressing without having to open and lose heat/interrupt the cooking process. It also has a low heat dehydrate setting that I have not used yet, but was one reason for choosing this model. I have cooked full meals, snacks, baked cakes, reheated foods, and fixed chips/cheese curls that had gone a little stale, and everything has come out fantastic. I will say it takes a little adjusting to, and it seems to be a powerful model because initially I cooked some frozen onion rings for the amount of time, and the temp called for the onion rings for air frying and they were way too overdone. I have found that I cook things for about half to 2/3 the time most items call for as far as premade frozen stuff. Having the window helps because I can see just how toasted the garlic bread is, or if the cheese is just about to melt out of mozzarella sticks and stop the air fryer, getting perfect results every time, so much better than the oven/toaster/microwave, etc.
I have had absolutely no issues with this air fryer not performing every time, or with the responsiveness of the touch panel. It is relatively easy to clean, but I keep a piece of foil in the bottom or use silicone liners/pans for most things that are messy such as bacon or steak, and then there is virtually no major cleanup. When it does require it, it is easily washed with a small amount of water and soap, or in the dishwasher. Another selling point is that this has two nice sturdy handles attached, and unlike many models I looked at, will not have any issue with the inner basket not attaching or the pins failing.
Another thing to keep in mind is that water can get into the area between the window and inside of the air fryer basket, so I try to be careful not to get that part submerged, and to make sure it is not dripping water when I go to put it back in the air fryer. I imagine that it is designed this way out of necessity, and it doesn't add to the difficulty of use or cleaning, so doesn't affect my opinion of the product, but something to be aware of. One last thing to pay attention to. The manual says to make sure there is plenty of room on all sides around the air fryer, and it does get somewhat warm when cooking at max temp, so I can see why this is important. I have read reviews of people having air fryers crack their marble counters, so I was concerned, but by making sure it has plenty of room to ventilate I have had no problems. Only once cooking bacon has the air fryer smoked a little, and I found that there was a little grease on the side of the machine where it ventilates and after cleaning that up it stopped smoking. It WAS pretty fatty bacon to be fair lol.
I recommend this and even recommended it to my mother who is now cooking for one, has some dietary restrictions, and doesn't have the endurance to spend long times cooking these days. She is going to get this model when it goes on sale again because she has been impressed with mine.
My only regret is waiting so long to get one, and being so confused about the sea of features and models to choose from. I hope this review helps someone avoid that. If you are looking for an air fryer that has versatility, and ease of use, for a good price, this is a fantastic candidate. I will update my review if my experience changes.
