Good value with a few issues

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The best thing about this coffeemaker is the pour lip on the Carafe is extended so there is NO chance of drips. If you have a Mr Coffee you know what I mean. I also like the compact design that doesn't take up too much counter space and fits under our cabinets. Brews well, nice to have a strong mode. Buttons do not light up but I know the Brew button is directly under the 10 minute number so turning it on in the dark is OK. The permanent filter is a pain to clean so I use regular filters. One safety issue is the Brew head is attached to the lid so if you open it while brewing you could get splattered with hot water. Pricey but does go on sale. Mine was a Deal of the Day for 20 bucks which made it a great buy.
