A minor concern is that the metal "holder and spring mechanisms" seem a little flimsy, so time will tell how they hold up. Other than that, it's very well designed and toasts quickly and consistently.

Good Toaster for the Money

We are a little concerned about the solid state construction of the toaster. This is a replacement unit for our old toaster that we have been using for some 20 plus years. Bottom line - so far so good. We are pleased with the job that it does with toasting bread, bagels. A lot quicker and better than the old unit!

Was not ready for the Tech advancements. Thank Goodness a very small learning curve. Tried different breads and bagels. Seems that bottom of items toast darker than the top of items.
