    This toaster works perfectly to toast my bagel and toast. HOWEVER, what I thought was a "defrost" button is actually a "gluten free" button. This allows the toaster to toast longer at a higher temp. So if you're gluten free this may be the toaster for you. This is 100% my fault.. after looking at so many toasters I forgot how to read. Other than wishing this was a defrost button the toaster does toast very well! Pops the toast up pefectly so no burnt fingers or toast on the floor.

    This toaster heats up the metal wires inside like other toasters and it makes bread and waffles get cooked. I like this about it. It does it pretty consistently too. It took me a few uses to dial in my preferred toastiness level, but once I got it dialed, it comes out the same every time. If you desire a toasted food item, this is an excellent appliance choice. I got it on sale for $20 and it's an excellent value at that pricepoint. Here's to many happy toast returns to you.

    I’ve had this for about two weeks now and it works perfectly fine. The dial is accurate to hour toasted you want your bread or waffle and so on. Overall great product.
