Scary and frustrating but it works

This is the most frustrating one when it comes to controls. The touch is sometimes unresponsive and laggy. There is also a plastic smell every time I cook, and it coats the food with the smell. Never had these issues with other brand-new fryers before,

My first one was two years ago and the non stick coating had started to wear off after a lot of use. I was going to try a different brand but when this one went on sale for $39.99 I decided to go with the same one. I’m using silicone liners now so hopefully this one will last longer. I would definitely recommend.
