It is much quieter than the unit we had before and as a very good job, and we love the design and the easy to use menus

Designed to fail.

When it was working I was happy due to the price even with the lack of features. Why do I rate the unit so poorly? They made a cheap little plastic piece on the inside front of the tray that is meant to guide the tray in and push up a little switch to tell the machine it is safe to turn on. Can you guess what happened? Yes, the cheap plastic piece chipped off and the fully functioning unit no longer works. Either Bella Pro Series wants me to believe they have the dumbest humans on the planet working for them or the most plausible outcome is an intentional design flaw. I doubt they hire the dumbest people on the planet. That means to me they designed the air fryer to fail intentionally. That is a scam. A fully functional piece of equipment rendered inoperable due to a faulty cheap plastic guide. You live and you learn not to buy anything with Bella written on it.
