The Bella Pro Series slicer is an excellent buy! It takes up very little room on the counter, so we are able to leave it out for instant access. It is attractive... OK, it's attractive for a meat slicer... and works beautifully. It also powerful enough for our usage; although I might prefer a heavier duty motor than it's 150W one. I have NOT tried it on frozen food (not recommended) but for thawed or refrigerated meats, cheeses and breads it has worked perfectly.

It's small, and not that hard to clean. I like it for all the uses I bought it for. Plusses would counter space and cut's like you would expect. Does not open as wide as you may think it would, an example would be It can make a perfect slice of bread and for THIN THIn slicing, this won't meet expectations prolly. Good machine for the money when I breaks I will have o get a more professional model BUT till then!!!

Great machine for the price, easy to use, light weight, suction cups hold well. The only issue i had was when i received my item from the ups store the box was absolutely destroyed, i was wondering if the slicer was even going to work but all was well and i love my slicer.

Although it’s terrible to clean it every time after use, it turned out to be a super durable meat slicer. I’ve used it for like 10 times and it still works pretty well. I got it for about 20 bucks and am happy about this product!

Let's start with the fact that this is a $100 home meat slicer that can be purchased for $50 on sale. For the price, I believe it was a good deal.
It does not run at high speed like a commercial machine you would find at a deli. The serrated blade compensates for the lower speed. You can't get paper thin slices -but- it will make slices thin enough for sandwiches and similar.
Clean-up is easy. The sliding tray for the meat / whatever your slicing flips up and can be wiped down - along with providing access to any scraps that might have ended up being dragged under it. Also for cleaning, the blade has a screw slightly offset from the center and removal is simple.
With three weeks of ownership (and using a few times each week) we have no complaints so far. If we have any problems, I will update my review.

I was lucky enough to get this item for around $27. It is very simple to use for the beginner. I have sliced whole boneless pork loin, white and sweet potatoes, and block cheese with this appliance. I recommend keeping the box since it doesn't include a cover to keep from dust and other debris attaching itself to the slicer. When guest see this appliance they believe that I paid a substantial amount of money for it.

I’ve been wanting one of these for quite some time. The price has finally hit a point in which I can afford it however, it doesn’t take away from the quality. Great buy for the price. Great for managing bulk items from your grocery list. Slices through many products with ease.

For a less expensive model this unit works good. It does not have the power that my previous slicer did but go slow and it works great. The plate holding the stuff you are slicing could be a bit bigger. I smoke a lot of meats and I love it.

I purchased it for a little more than a twenty which is what it is really worth. I wouldn't buy at msrp. My problems with it is that food easily gets trapped between the rotating blade and the motor. For this reason, the blade needs to be removed for hygenic reasons so you don't get sick from bacteria from left over scraps stuck between the blade and motor. The food doesn't come out neatly behind the machine and its almost impossible to find something that will catch the food being sliced. The motor is anemic and slow but for safety reasons that might not be such a bad thing. The problem is from the very first use of it, I could smell an electrical odor. That tells me the longevity of the motor is in question.
In my opinion, if you don't slice up meats that often, this might be a bargain. I use it for slicing up flatiron steaks for phili cheese sandwiches. But if you think you might need a machine to use a few times a week, this one isn't it. Think, extreme light duty.

I use it to slice rump roasts or sirloin tip roasts when they go on sale. I dry rub them with steak seasoning, put them in a preheated 400degree oven and immediately turn the temp down to 200 degrees and slow bake it for an hour per pound. I cool and half freeze them before I slice them. It beats paying $9 a pound for deli beef.

This was about 20% of the price of the next least expensive model I was considering.I read about its limitations and decided to try it. It exceeded my expectations. I've only used it twice, for a roast beef and a ham, both cooked and refrigerated. I did not try to go fast, and It worked great. It was relatively easy to clean.

This meat slicer works well. I sliced up a small roast beef with it quite easily. I should have noted the maximum size of an item to slice - about 4.5 x 4.5 inches. So it's not big enough to do some things I had planned without cutting the items into smaller chunks in order to slice. Still a great price and useful to me.

I'm glad I had coupons for this that reduced the price down to $22.50 so it wasn't a bad deal for me but I would not buy this again as it is cheaply made it is plastic in the metal is very thin it's fairly loud when using and it is not easy to clean at all you have to literally wipe it down you cannot the blade off easily and the other parts don't come off to clean you have to clean the machine as is if you are using this to cut soft cheese like American or Velveeta you need to cut thick otherwise it won't work very well it cut my tomatoes very well though but again they we're fairly thick slices I don't see this machine lasting very long maybe 6 months to a year so if you do decide to buy this machine get the extended warranty with it even then I heard that it's hard to get this repaired the company is hard to contact as a matter of fact probably impossible I like to call a little Miss nothing so maybe it wouldn't even be worth getting extended warranty probably just going to have to throw it out if it breaks

Meh! It's OK, but nothing to write home about. READ the directions first. I initially removed the blade to clean it. The backside of the blade and the area the blade is attached to has excess clear lubricant, sticky stuff. It is possible any food sliced could contact this area of the back of the blade. Clean the blade first and wipe up any excess off the back that can transfer back to the blade surface. The lubricant only needs to be on the plastic contacts.
The adjustable backing plate is flimsy and will give towards the top if you push too hard to hold the meat against it resulting in an uneven thickness. Also, the slide tray is awkward to push. You need to stand behind the end of the slicer and push the slide tray forward and not stand facing the blade pushing the tray sideways. Also you cannot push to hard/fast forcing the cut. It's best to push slower and let the blade do the work at its speed.
Cleanup is a PIA. Removing the blade is not all that bad, but wear a thick glove on one hand to handle the blade; it is SHARP! I use a soft dish brush to clean both sides of the blade in soapy water while it lays in the sink. The meat tray does not remove from the slide rail. Cleaning the tray and backside of the slicer with a soapy washcloth is easy enough, but is a pain to remove the soap residue afterward. You have to man-handle the entire unit (not real heavy, but bulky) over the sink to rinse being careful not to get any electrical area wet. I don't want soap in my food.
Unless you use this for very thin slicing, for steak&cheese or sandwiches, and slice a whole roast or brisket at one time like at the deli, I find it really is not worth the work for cleanup. All other slicing I can do as well with a sharp knife and not have the mess to clean up.
Make sure you have the storage for this. If you have small children DO NOT leave this out on the counter. Even with the blade adjusted to 0 thickness, it can still be touched with a finger and it WILL bite you like a razor blade.
Overall for me it is OK for the half off sale price, even if you only occasionally use it.
